Moosjer Heartfelt folk & blues, originals and singalongs - solo or with strings/dbl bass

I’m Lieven, a singer and guitarist performing as Moosjer. I bring a warm mix of original songs, folk, blues, Dutch-language storytelling songs and familiar covers. Singing in English, Dutch and West Flemish, I move from intimate listening moments to soulful blues and songs that get everyone singing along.

I perform solo or accompanied by double bass and/or violin. My experience at venues such as Ghent’s blues club Missy Sippy brings a rootsy, heartfelt energy to my performances.

Alongside performing, I lead singing circles, so I’m comfortable reading the room and inviting people to join in naturally. Whether the moment calls for a quiet song, a little more groove or a full-hearted singalong, I adapt to the audience and the occasion.

From living-room concerts to private celebrations and small stages, I love creating a personal, welcoming atmosphere where music brings people together.
