I started DJing in 1985 in Casablanca and became very famous as DJ Abdou at Paradise Marrakech. With over 30 years of experience, I’ve played in top venues across Morocco, the UAE, and Europe, specializing in Afro House, Deep House,Techh House, House Music and electronic music for upscale audiences.
I’ve been influenced by legendary DJs and producers like Larry Levan, Black Coffee, and Derrick May. My favorite artist is Black Coffee for his soulful and deep Afro House sound. The greatest song of all time, in my view, is “Strings of Life” by Derrick May — a timeless classic that shaped electronic music.
