To begin, we usually need a few key details about your wedding: your approximate guest count, preferred date or season, overall budget range, desired location in Switzerland and the atmosphere you envision. If some of these details are not yet defined, that is absolutely fine. We can develop them together and guide you through the process before starting the venue search.

This depends entirely on the wedding concept and the selected team of vendors. We coordinate all requirements directly with the venue in advance, including access times, loading and parking, preparation and storage areas, power requirements and any logistical restrictions. Our goal is to have every detail clarified before the wedding day.

Set up and pack down times depend on the scale of the wedding, the venue and the individual design concept. We coordinate the timings with the venue and all involved vendors in advance and create a detailed schedule to ensure everything is prepared calmly and efficiently.

Every wedding is different, so it is difficult for us to name just one favourite. The celebrations we love most are those where the couple’s personality is reflected throughout the entire experience, from the setting and design to the smallest personal details. We particularly love working at beautiful venues across Switzerland where architecture, nature and exceptional hospitality come together and give us the freedom to create something truly individual.

For us, the most memorable weddings are not defined by a particular style or trend, but by how personally they reflect the people being celebrated.

Nations of Glam was founded by us, sisters Sarah and Cheryl, from a shared passion for creating meaningful and beautifully considered celebrations. We are both trained wedding planners, but bring very different strengths to our work. Sarah comes from a creative and beauty focused background and has a strong eye for styling, colour and aesthetics, while Cheryl combines wedding planning with a background in business informatics and brings structure, strategy and precision to every project. Together, we realised that these two perspectives create something special: weddings that are both beautifully designed and meticulously organised. This combination became the foundation of Nations of Glam.

What makes Nations of Glam different is the combination of creative direction and meticulous planning. Sarah brings the eye for aesthetics, styling and emotional atmosphere, while Cheryl brings structure, strategy and precision. Every wedding therefore benefits from two perspectives throughout the planning process.
We do not work with standard concepts or simply recreate trends. We take the time to understand who our couples are and translate their story, personality and values into a celebration that feels distinctly theirs.
For us, luxury is not about excess. It is about thoughtful design, seamless organisation and the confidence of knowing that every detail has been considered. Our couples receive both: a beautifully curated wedding experience and the structure behind it that allows them to truly enjoy it.

Absolutely. Every wedding we plan is individually tailored to the couple, their story, priorities and guests. We do not work with standard concepts or predefined aesthetics. From the venue and design to the atmosphere, timeline and guest experience, every element is thoughtfully developed around the people at the heart of the celebration. Cultural traditions, international guests and personal requests can all be incorporated into the experience.

Our full service wedding planning covers the entire journey from the first vision to the wedding day. This includes defining the concept and budget structure, venue search, sourcing and coordinating trusted vendors, wedding design and styling, timeline development, guest experience planning and ongoing coordination throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, both of us are present to coordinate the vendors, oversee the set up and manage the celebration behind the scenes, allowing our couple to be fully present and enjoy their day.

For full service wedding planning, we recommend contacting us around 12 to 18 months before your preferred wedding date, particularly for popular dates and sought after venues in Switzerland. This gives us the time to secure the right venue and vendor team and to develop the wedding experience thoughtfully. However, every celebration is different, so we are also happy to consider weddings with a shorter planning timeframe depending on our availability.
