Is there a room or spot to store my briefcase as well as set up away from the guests?
One of the best venues I’ve had the opportunity to perform at was the MGM Grand Skylofts in Las Vegas. I performed close-up magic for a private VIP birthday event there, and it was an incredible experience.
Some of my favorite gigs, though, are the ones where I get to really interact with the guests. Being able to move through a room, meet different people, and create those huge reactions just a few feet away is what I enjoy most about performing.
Strong, impactful magic has always been my favorite style to perform because I love creating those moments where people genuinely have no explanation for what they just witnessed. I’m drawn to magic that feels impossible, happens right in front of you, and leaves you thinking about it long after the performance is over.
For me, the best magic isn’t just about fooling someone—it’s about creating a memorable experience. I love seeing that moment when someone goes from watching closely and trying to figure everything out to simply laughing, reacting, and enjoying the impossibility. That genuine reaction is what makes performing magic so rewarding for me.
I got into performing professionally pretty naturally. I started doing magic because I genuinely loved it, and the more I practiced, the more I found myself performing for people whenever I had the opportunity.
Eventually, I met someone who helped introduce me to the world of professional gigs, and from there I just started performing more and more. One event led to another, word of mouth grew, and what started as something I loved doing developed into a professional career.
Since then, I've performed at everything from private parties and weddings to corporate events, trade shows, hotels, casinos, and large special events. Every gig has helped me grow as a performer and develop the interactive, high-impact style of magic I perform today.
