Niveau Chapeau is a flexible band that can play in almost every location. The musicians don't need much. Everything is of course negotiable.
Niveau Chapeau can play in places where there is no electricity, for example at street performances, garden parties, beaches, etc. Keep in mind that the quality of the sound deteriorates considerably. The playing time with the batteries is also limited.
It is often more interesting to provide electricity. A simple socket (type E or F / 230V AC / 50 HZ / 10A) is sufficient. This may also be brought via an extension wire cable.
Niveau Chapeau can also play amplified by PA.
- A parking space for a car with trailer as close as possible to the place where Niveau Chapeau plays.
- A space of approx. 4 x 4 meters is sufficient. Bigger is of course also allowed.
- A raised stage is not necessary, but is recommended for groups larger than 70 people.
- For outdoor performances colder than 10°C three heaters for the hands of the musicians. A shelter in case of rainfall or strong wind.
We can bring our own PA system as well.
Yes we can if we use our PA system. Any royalties, permits and taxes are for the organizer.
We normally arrive 30 minutes before the performance to set up. We generally perform 2 x ca. 60 minutes.

We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 2 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them
