"Douglas was recommended to us by a very close friend; we needed someone for our wedding in Chamonix. We had around 60 people travelling from the UK and we needed someone we could trust to put on a great party for us. Douglas did just that. From first contact he made us feel like we were in safe hands. He helped us create a set list with our friend and managed his part with the venue so we didn’t have anything to worry about. The night was way beyond our wildest expectations; from the first track until the last one, the floor was full. Music to suit everyone from my 85-year-old father in law to the ravers in the group. I cannot recommend Douglas highly enough.

"We asked Douglas to perform at our 2 day wedding event in Argentiere, and never regretted it. Douglas was very engaging and flexible, trying to accommodate all our requests and changing weather conditions which was not easy in the mountains in June. Despite slightly unpredictable weather conditions, we had really amazing time with Douglas, in particular due to his amazing sense of the atmosphere/mood in the room which guaranteed that his music selection was always spot on. Douglas’ live performance was amazing, as well as his DJ’ing later at night. At the end of the night, our guests didn’t want to let him go. We would certainly always recommend Douglas for events of any size.

"Douglas DJ’d our wedding in Chamonix and to say he nailed it is an understatement. We had a mixture of people from 23-80 and from 3 continents, but Douglas’ flawless performance meant nobody left the dance floor until 0300. The ability to keep people up was the icing on our wedding cake thanks to Douglas. Would never look elsewhere for a DJ. He’s the BEST!

"We had the great DJ Douglas for a last-minute big birthday party…he absolutely made the night with a great atmosphere that set the dance floor on fire! The percussion is a really nice touch. Also super friendly and professional. Would totally recommend and will be keeping out an eye for his gigs.

"We truly cannot recommend DJ Doug enough as a wedding DJ. One of our top priorities for our wedding was having a killer dance party - and DJ Doug absolutely delivered. From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive, professional, and easy to work with. We had planning calls with him in the lead-up to the wedding where we talked through the schedule, our musical tastes, and the overall vibe we wanted for the night. We also had the chance to meet with Doug in person a couple of months before the wedding, which made everything feel even more personal. It meant a lot to have someone so thoughtful, fun, and easy to be around on such an important day. Doug was super chill and clearly experienced. He had both of us create playlists of our top 30 favorite songs, plus we put together a separate list for guest requests. This gave him a really solid sense of our style and the kind of energy we were hoping for - and he nailed it. The dance party was unforgettable. One of my best friends - someone who is pretty picky about music - came up to me mid-dance floor and shouted, “Your DJ slaps!” Honestly, that felt like the highest possible praise. People were dancing all night, and the party didn’t stop until 1 a.m. Doug read the room perfectly, keeping the energy high and the transitions between songs absolutely seamless. What really stood out to us was the level of thought and preparation he brought to the night. He didn’t just play one song after another - he crafted the flow of the evening with carefully chosen remixes and transitions that kept everyone moving. It was clear he cared about the details and wanted to make the night as special as possible. If you’re looking for a DJ who will throw an incredible party and make your wedding night truly memorable, you should absolutely hire DJ Doug. We only wish he lived closer to us in California - we’d hire him again in a heartbeat for any future party we throw!

"Doug was amazing!! Organised and methodical in the lead up to our big day. He is a great communicator and really took the time to understand our vision of what we wanted. On the night he rolled with the crowd and had the floor full constantly despite some dubious requests from our guests!! he even videotaped our first dance and sent to it to us so we could have it the day after while we waited for the videographer to produce the full video. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Book him you won’t regret it.

"Douglas was a great contributor to our wedding! Before the wedding, he was attentive and professional, which made us feel as if we were in good hands! Then on the day of our ceremony, he was terrific: coming very early to have plenty of time to install his material, managing the music and speeches during the dinner and most importantly, he created an amazing party for us the night of our wedding. Guests have enjoyed his music, the steady build-up as well as all his equipment (lights, smoke) that created an amazing ambience. The following day of our wedding, he quickly took all his material back. He is very friendly and easy going. Not that it is relevant, but some female guests found him very attractive too!

We couldn't have picked a better DJ for our wedding day. We had a destination wedding in France and met with Doug via video once and had a great feeling from the initial meeting. Doug was super responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel confident in our decision. He sure knows how to get the party started and kept all our guests dancing until the end of the night. We wish we hadn't ended our dancing so soon because the music was too good!!! We highly recommend Doug whether you are planning a wedding or any special event. Thank you again, Doug!

Professional, fun, great at judging the energy of the party and dropping the right tracks at the right time to get everyone dancing! All logistics were taken care of, communication leading up to the event was excellent, nothing for us to do other than enjoy ourselves. Our wedding party would not have been the same without him, even my dad was dancing and I don't think I've seen that happen in decades!
