Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

For a North Eastern USA booking:
PA System: 2 mounted speakers, 3 floor monitors, 16-32 channel mixing board
2 vocal mics
2 boom mic stands

For bookings outside of the North East USA:
PA System: 2 mounted speakers, 3 floor monitors, 16-32 channel mixing board
2 vocal mics
2 boom mic stands
4 piece drum kit with throne, hardware, and cymbals
1 bass amp - either 1x12, 2x12, or 1x15 combo amp
1 guitar amp - 1x12 or 2x12 tube amp

What information do you require about a venue?

We need to know whether or not there is backlined equipment for the drums, bass, and electric guitar. We'd also need to know where we should park, and where we should be loading in.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

If our booking is drivable, i.e. in the North East of the USA, we can provide our own sound equipment. If the booking is outside of that region, we will need to have sound equipment and backline (PA, amps, drums) provided for us.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

We will happily provide music to listen to in between our sets.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The best gig I've ever done was when I opened for the Dropkick Murphys in 2014 in Boston on St. Patrick's Day - they had the most welcoming, adoring audience I've ever performed for. The best venue I've ever worked at is Club Passim in Cambridge, MA - they have such a warm, attentive space where folks can really appreciate the music and the art form.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love all kinds of events, but our favorites are when the room is tuned in and enjoying the music!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started gigging when I was 16 in the NYC area where I grew up. Since then I've performed several hundred if not thousands of times. It is my passion, my joy, and my pleasure to share music with other people. I've had the privilege of playing all over the USA and Canada - and soon, the EU and UK!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My favorite artist of all time is Counting Crows, shortly followed by Bruce Springsteen and Brandi Carlile. They are just some of the finest songwriters of our time.

Do you all take requests?

Yes! We do take requests as long as it aligns with the general vibe and energy of the performance. For example, if we're playing Bruce Springsteens' "Dancing in the Dark", and then somebody asks if we'll play Slayer, the answer is most likely no.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive 2 hours before our performance, so we have time to set up, collect ourselves, and play. Typically, we'll play 3 sets, 50 minutes each, with 10 minute breaks in between. If the audience is feeling it, and the energy is there, we may play longer!

Are you happy to perform outside?

We are happy to perform in what ever environment suits the event. That said, if the event is outside, we require a contingency plan for rain or poor weather, whether that is a tent or a cancellation policy.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We are happy to learn a small batch of requested songs (5 maximum), provided that the songs are requested at least a month in advance.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe us as high energy, passionate, and exciting. We love what we do and it shows!

How much space do you require for set up?

For a band performance, we require at least 12'x12' - to accommodate drums, amps, stands, and bodies.
For a solo performance, we require at least 6'x6' to accommodate the PA, a mic stand, and the performer.
For a duo performance, we require at lesst 8'x8' to accommodate the PA, 2 mic stands, and the performers.
For a trio performance, we require at least 10'x10' to accommodate the PA, 2 mic stands, and the performers.
