Ricky Elias commenced performing at age 12 as a boy soprano in his high school choir in Sydney’s western suburbs and participated in choral mass choir at the Sydney Opera House Later, as a young adult his would later culminate in studying musical theatre and landing the role of “Harry” in Stephen Sondheim’s COMPANY. He then went on to study film acting at PARTICIPATE FILM ACADEMY at Australian Technology Park, Redfern. Afterwards he would return for further training of his vocal instrument - this time in the Bel Canto classical technique which he has undertaken for the past decade. (Training online through the Covid pandemic) During this time he has honed his vocal skills being mentored by the wonderful operatic lyric tenor Joseph Raso (Opera Australia Mediterranean Opera School-Jack Lavigni) Who has been responsible for mentoring and finalising Ricky's mellifluous tonal quality. An added bonus to this technique is the vocal enhancements to the varying genres and styles of repertoire.
