For us its all about the music well nearly ... it's also about involving the audience, not playing the same old overplayed cover songs, and ensuring the songs offered are popular and interesting.
We are a 5 piece covers band and we aim to play songs that are timeless and popular but rarely performed due to limitations of the musicians or size of the band.
Not only do we have the usual guitar, bass and drums but a veteran pianist who also plays guitar and a lead vocalist with a huge vocal range.
This enables One Track Mind to perform many of the late 60s 70s and 80s songs that aren't possible for most non-pros.
We feel we have a great and interesting set list of rarer and popular songs, a tightknit experienced band with vocal harmonies and bags of enthusiasm and energy.
We know we have the right mix to make your night an entertaining and unique one.

One Track Mind love both very large event gigs as well as smaller venues.
One Track Mind play all sorts of events from large open air gigs (circa 2500 audience), retro weekends 600+ audience, to more intimate clubs and pubs. We also play corporate and private functions looking for a quality band with a retro set list that get the audience buzzing and dancing
The band are all highly experienced musicians with many years playing in different bands, some fully professional, before we came together back in 2020.
The band love music from the iconic decades of the 70's and 80's. We play songs that not a lot of other bands can play.
Set Up time including sound check is normally 2 hours.
Performance times vary. From 1 hours sets to 2 x 1 hour sets to 3 x 45min sets.
We are happy to work with our venues and customers to provide the set list and set length that is ideal for the event
Yes we are happy to play outside. Note we would require a stage or a flat service to play on, plus 240v mains power supply nearby and a cover/awning in case of inclement weather.
We are happy for a client to request one or two songs given sufficient time for learning and rehearsal.
