One of the best gigs I’ve ever done was a wedding where I performed during the ceremony and cocktail reception. The atmosphere was incredible, and seeing the guests’ reactions to the live saxophone made it a truly memorable experience.

As for the best venue, I’ve had the opportunity to perform at several beautiful wedding venues and hotels across Portugal. I particularly enjoy elegant spaces where the music can complement the atmosphere and create a sophisticated, memorable experience for guests.

My favourite types of events are weddings and corporate events. I love creating memorable moments through live saxophone, whether it’s adding emotion to a wedding ceremony and cocktail reception or bringing an elegant, energetic atmosphere to a corporate event. I enjoy adapting my repertoire and style to each occasion and audience.

I started playing saxophone at the age of 9 and have been performing ever since. After studying at the Conservatório de Música da Jobra and the University of Aveiro, I began gigging professionally at concerts, weddings and corporate events. Today, I focus mainly on creating memorable live saxophone experiences for weddings and events.

I’ve been particularly influenced by saxophonists such as David Sanborn and Candy Dulfer, as well as artists like Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. My favourite artist is Stevie Wonder, and if I had to choose one greatest song of all time, I’d say “Isn’t She Lovely”

My typical performance is 2 × 45-minute sets, although the duration and format can vary depending on the contract and the requirements of each event.

Yes, absolutely. I’m happy to perform outdoors, provided there is suitable weather and a safe, suitable setup for the equipment.

Clients can absolutely have a say in what I play. I have a varied repertoire, but I’m happy to adapt the music to their preferences, the type of event and the atmosphere they want to create.
