Neil Bailey's 'Pluma Dorada' does not disappoint at all. You instantly lose yourself in his music as soon as he starts playing. Also a lovely man to meet in person.

!“ A nice track to round off the show with tonight. This track is a super special one to him, he says “ This is a solo instrumental track that I wrote for my son , Alfie.” This is just wonderful. Clapton - esque guitar solos, a really sweet story behind it as well. This is a lovely thing. It’s called ‘Hi Alf’, by Neil Bailey.

Now look, getting to witness a musician like Neil playing his first solo show in this format, bare foot, and to a crowd at a packed out pub, is one thing... the crowd (including us) were absolutely blown away, elevated, and swept off to space, throughout Neil's set. This has become a real highlight for us as a band, something we didn't stop talking about the whole way home on Sunday... but then we had to follow this act with our own headline set!
Neil was absolutely incredible, sharing a stage with such talent was an honour

Love the vocals, harmonies… I really like it… a distinctive sound… chord progressions blend beautifully. Lyrical composition with layers of deeper meaning (I really liked that!)”
Awesomely refreshing retro late 60's style and places emphasis on songwriting… reminiscent of Joan Baez on the ballads…. Nice job, y'all!
Cowboys and Indians… that’s a great little track - I've got a lot of time for that! And the Indian chants at the end are great – Magpie22? – Nice!

Dawn Kelly & Neil Bailey are Magpie 22 and they released their single 'Cowboys and Indians’ on February 14th (iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc).
The song starts off quite atmospherically and then keeps this theme with a great story line so the lyrics are very important in this song and need to be listened to. Dawn’s voice is very strong and the music too is excellent making for a very expressive, enjoyable and memorable song and one that will no doubt evoke a few emotions. Clever songwriting and interwoven harmonies make this a perfect song for easy listening on your way to the next great summer festival. Hopefully they will be on one of the stages i manage this year. great couple to work with and consummate professionals.
