Plush Sanches — born Jerry H. Strong III — is an Atlanta-based rapper, producer, songwriter, and engineer known for his genre-blending sound and unapologetic storytelling. Rooted in Vine City’s rich culture, he began producing beats at just 12 years old, eventually evolving into a full-fledged artist with a catalog that spans hip-hop, R&B, trap, rap-rock, and reggae fusion.
His latest project, Reporting Live Part. 1, has been praised as “a raw, unfiltered window into a rapper locked into his own orbit” (Illustrate Magazine) and showcases his ability to shift between braggadocious energy, surreal imagery, and moments of vulnerability. Minimum performance space: 6 meters x 5 meters (suitable for solo artist with mic setup).
Power: At least 1 x 13 amp power socket near the stage/performance area.
Sound: Access to the venue’s PA system with standard XLR inputs. Plush Sanches will require 2 vocal microphones (preferably Shure SM58 or equivalent) and 1 monitor.
Playback: Venue must provide a DJ, sound technician, or laptop operator capable of running backing tracks (USB, aux, or email transfer in advance).
Lighting: Standard stage lighting is appreciated but not essential.
Parking: 2–4 parking spaces close to the venue for load-in.
Clear directions and load-in/load-out details.
Confirmation of available PA system and microphone setup.

It was actually a local gig in Atlanta at the Apache Cafe before it closed. It was very exciting it was my 2nd performance. I performed with a few friends and received my first online radio interview. After the performance one of the artist also gave me a Eric Cartman pendant from the adult cartoon South Park.
I like performing at festivals, birthday parties, and event centers.
I began performing at school pep rallies for in high school, then began gigging locally in Atlanta through Sonicbids and Reverbnation. Such as the Royal Peacock, Legends, Apache Cafe, Furnace 41, and @vinyl Center Stage.
I've been mostly influenced by DonTarzan and Jestin Strong; they really helped me out with critiquing my sound as a musician. Ray Charles is my favorite artist. The greatest song of all time to me would be Sweeney Todd - "Not While I'm Around".
Always arrive 1hr 30mins -2hrs before the performance set up. Usually performances last 1-2hrs. This allows a entire showcase bringing all the talent to the surface with tracks that may feature other musicians.
Yes, performing outside is strongly encouraged.
Only original songs/ works from the repertoire list are performed. We can provide a setlist or you may choose from the repertoire.
Past Gigs have described my past performances as lively, full of energy, respectful, punctual, loud, and exhilarating. Sometimes mosh pits can occur.
