A really great night, Point 5 were so accommodating, fun and professional. Also really great communication before the ceilidh, together meant my daughter had a party to remember.

Point Five were great! Band played amazing music, and the dance callers were fab! We had a tough crowd of anti-dancers but they got them up dancing and we had an amazing time!! Thank you for such a fun evening! Highly recommend !

We booked a Ceilidh with the band last year. Had to postpone but they were good with that. The party could not have gone better. Everyone dancing from the first dance. The band responded well and the calling was good as there were a number who had not been to a Ceilidh before. Organisation and communication was good. Thoroughly pleased with the how everything went.

Right from the word go, your professionalism and enthusiasm shone through, with both of you demonstrating superb musicianship combined with the excellent calling skills of Anna who got everyone up on their feet for the whole night! Thanks for a really great evening! The ceilidh was really fun and Sarah’s calling made it really easy for the many of our guests who had never been to a ceilidh before to join in too. We had many comments about the lovely music and it was nice to have the interludes between dancing to listen and have a break.

We hired Point Five to play at our first ever NYE Ceilidh and it went down an absolute treat ! We sold out and almost everyone was up dancing which was completely unexpected ! The music was great, the caller was great and it was an all round great night and I’m so glad we chose Point Five as our band for it. I would 100% recommend Point Five if you’re ever in need of a Ceilidh Band!
