Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of our most memorable performances was at a beautiful historic villa in Lake Como, where we played for an intimate wedding with breathtaking views of the lake. The combination of the stunning setting, the emotional atmosphere, and the happy couple’s joy made it truly unforgettable. It was a real privilege to contribute to such a special day in such an incredible venue.

What's your favourite type of event?

We enjoy performing at all kinds of events, but weddings are our favourite. The atmosphere is always joyful and celebratory, and it’s incredibly rewarding to help create beautiful, memorable moments for the couple and their guests.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I began performing professionally after completing my conservatory training, gradually building experience through concerts, weddings, funerals, and special events. Over the years, I’ve performed at hundreds of events across Italy and Switzerland, refining my repertoire and performance style to suit each occasion. My work combines formal classical training with a flexible approach to meet the needs of every client.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I’ve been influenced by a wide range of musicians across classical, jazz, and contemporary genres. Ludovico Einaudi inspires my emotional and cinematic piano playing, while Bill Evans and Oscar Peterson have shaped my approach to jazz and improvisation. My personal favourite artist is Chopin, whose expressive piano works continue to inspire every performance. As for the greatest song of all time, I’d choose Clair de Lune by Debussy—its timeless beauty and emotional depth resonate with audiences across generations.

What types of events do you perform at?

I perform live piano music for weddings, private events, religious and civil ceremonies, parties, and corporate events in the Langhe and Roero regions, tailoring the repertoire to suit the client’s desired style and atmosphere.

Can clients choose the pieces you play during the event?

Yes, clients can select pieces from my repertoire or request up to 5 specific songs to be learned in advance, ensuring a personalized and unique performance.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We usually arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up and ensure everything is ready. Our standard performance format is 2 sets of 45–60 minutes, with a break in between. We’re happy to adjust the set length if needed, but we’ve found that this structure works best for maintaining energy and engagement throughout the event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, we’re happy to perform outdoors. We do ask for a shaded area, a flat and stable surface for instruments, and access to a power supply close to the performance area to ensure the best sound and safety for the equipment.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We’re happy to learn specific songs in advance, typically up to 5 requests. Clients can either choose a set list from our existing repertoire or allow us to curate the music for them, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable performance that suits the event’s atmosphere.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe our performances as elegant, professional, and emotionally moving. Many highlight our ability to create a memorable atmosphere, whether it’s a joyful celebration at a wedding, a reflective moment at a funeral, or a sophisticated ambiance at a corporate event.
