As an international and renowned saxophonist, arranger and composer, Rainer Pusch’s spectrum ranges from a jazz background obtained during his studies with George Coleman, Jerry Bergonzi, and his studies at the Berklee College of Music (Boston) to various performances with jazz, funk, latin and pop bands over the years. He worked beneath many others with Art Farmer, Pony Poindexter, Albert & Emil Mangelsdorff, Marion Brown, Mario Stantchev, Horace Parlan.
The Rainer Pusch Quartet is playing in the tradition of the Modern Jazz, Hard Bop. The musical material is based on standards out of the American song book, Pop and original compostions, documented on 4 CDs under his name. („Journey Agent“, „Rainer Pusch Trio meets Horace Parlan“, „In Between hose Changes“, „The Beginning and the End“)
The different rhythm sections over the years included names like Horace Parlan, John Betsch, Doug Hammond, Ranjid Barrot, Sanjay Divecha, Karl Peters and many others.

I played my first concert with 13 at my school. Until then I never stopped freelancing all over the place
From Lester Young to Michael Brecker I love them all. But to grow up in Jazz means to develop your own sound thru living and playing...
We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter - that depends on the Situation.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
The clients are welcome to propose a few songs they like.
They really enjoyed our choice of Tunes mainly Out of the American song book and Pop tunes
