RIDESHARE jazz is all about the VIBES, both the Vibes they play and the vibes they create interacting onstage!
With Dan on Keyboards (Piano & Hammond XK-4 Organ), Audrey starts on Flute, moving seamlessly to piano when Dan takes a ride on Vibes or Melodica.
Improvisations fueled by the energy of each other, the music, and the audience take you on a one-of-a kind jazz journey.
From Be-Bop to Bossa Nova, through Blues, Fusion, Funk, and Originals, their cool sound is a road trip inviting you to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!

Stage Plot and Tech Rider available to vier and download on our website.
Load in/out information is helpful. Heads up if there are flights of stairs. If venue is providing a sound tech, communication with tech in advance makes day-of go smoothly.
We provide our own mics, and amps-Roland KC400 for keyboards and drum machine, and Roland Street Cube EX for flutes and vibraphone. If more powerful sound is needed in a large venue, we can connect to your sound system. We do not provide lighting.
A playlist of our own recordings can be played through our own sound system between sets if requested.
We performed our most serious jazz sets at Sacred Grounds Jazz Coffeehouse and Tucson Jazz Society, both gatherings of jazz club members. Playing for true jazz lovers who understand and appreciate our improvisations is heaven!
We love playing any event or venue where the audience is expecting and appreciating jazz, e.g. a music festival or jazz night at a venue.
We met backing a singer in high school and have been performing together ever since.
Herbie Mann's use of unique instruments to play jazz inspired us to play the jazz we feel on the instruments we love.
2 musicians, 6 instruments, seamlessly switching keyboard players within a song. Improvisational jazz that’s all about the vibes!
Any instrument can play jazz, and any tune can be a jazz tune.
Our instrumentation (Flute, Keyboards, Vibes & Melodica) is unique and our improvisations are different every show. Our repertoire of jazz standards from all styles and eras (covered but never copied) and original tunes is chosen to feature our versatility and complement the vibe of the venue.
We research load-in and parking info beforehand and arrive in time for a 1 hour set up. A normal 3-4 hour performance is a 60 minute set followed by as many 15 minute break/45 minute sets as needed. We can accommodate any set schedule the venue requires.
For festivals with multiple bands playing shorter sets we can move our equipment from backstage to onstage in 15-30 minutes if a sound tech is provided. Using our own sound would need at least 45 minutes -1 hour.
We are based in Southern California and perform throughout the Western USA where most festivals are outdoors. We play many wineries, bars and restaurants with outdoor patios. We do require a power supply.
We tailor our set lists to the event/venue and will play a request from an audience member if it's in our repertoire. Song requests from clients in advance are more for wedding/party dance bands, not us.
Clients say we're professional in every aspect, unique performance, talented, appropriate to their venue.
