Roberto Galanto is an artistic anomaly. He is a songwriter, former opera singer, crooner, composer, and guitar player.

First, with a - Master's in opera singing he worked for over 10 years of activity, as a soloist and chorister in many productions of the Petruzzelli Theater working with internationally renowned conductors, and subsequently with the - Bachelor in Jazz Singing - obtained in the Netherlands, he took part in Jazz festivals like Leiden, Den Haag, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, etc… and worked with big bands.

Between Holland and Italy, he collaborated in these years with the West Coast big band, Ed Partyka, Berend van der Berg, David Marez Oyens, Arno Van Nieuwenhuize, Niek van Wiggen, Owen Hart Jr, Eric Doelman, Udo van Boven, Dena de Rose, Mario Rosini, Susanne Abbuehl, Francesca Tandoi, Claudio de Rosa jr, and many others.

As a songwriter he released in 2018 "Senza Troppo Rumore" and for the label - Digressione Music - in 2022 his new album "Welcome".

He is among the winners of the Music Gallery 2022, the Bellaballa Radio Festival Award (2010), Musica Controcorrente (2011), Musica è (2010) and the F.I.O.F.A. (2010). He participated as a finalist in the NEW YORK CANTA COMPETITION, Ed. 2022.
