Hey, I'm Rory Price. An acoustic artist from England, now based in Brisbane and performing acoustic favourites by Ed Sheeran, Vance Joy, Sam Smith, and going into some rockier acoustic covers of Blink 182, Green Day, and even Metallica. I thoroughly enjoy the stage and interacting with an audience. My vocal and guitar style are both full of energy and each performance is designed to leave the audience feeling engaged and energised!
I have all my own equipment and all I require is access to power and shelter from the sun/rain if you want an outdoor performance. So my job is to make your life as easy as possible, as well as making the music bring the vibes.

I've performed as second stage headliner at Wilkstock Festival in England with a madly interactive audience of over 2000.
The engagement. When I can see the guests/audience truly connect through the music it makes me know this is exactly what I'm meant to be doing.
I started performing at open mic nights in 2005, then as a solo acoustic act, in metal bands as a guitarist, in pop punk bands as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter, I then travelled the world for 2 years with my guitar and started performing in Australia in 2024. Here I have performed lives in ABC Radio, the Today show, at HOTA, for Brisbane Festival and been hired by the Brisbane City Council to perform for them in the city centre.
when it comes to my acoustic performances, my favourites are Jack Johnson, Ed Sheeran, and Mike Posner. When it comes to my earlier career with the bands I would say from Avenged Sevenfold to Blink182 depending on if it was for guitar playing inspiration or stage energy and crowd engagement.
I usually arrive 30min-1 hour early as the set up it quick and easy. I am most commonly hired to perform for 3 hours (3x45mins sets) with Spotify playlists between sets.
I am happy to perform outside as long as I have access to power, a flat dry surface and shelter from the sun/rail provided.
You can choose from a setlist of songs. and special requires are welcome but may be charged extra
high energy acoustic act with impressive guitar skills and a powerful voice.
If I already know the song I will be happy to take requests on the day. For more specialised requests. I can learn extra songs ahead of the event for special occasions.
