Sambre Jazz Quintet is a band composed of young but already experienced musicians who will put their professionalism at your service, guaranteeing a high-quality performance tailored to your needs.
The band consists of 5 members: alto saxophone, trumpet, keyboard, electric bass and drums.
Our repertoire ranges from classics standard jazz to modern instrumental funk, reworked in our fresh and original style with skill and passion, offering the audience an enjoyable and stimulating expirience.
Sambre Jazz Quintet is based in Florence but operates throughout the entire Tuscany region and beyond. The setlist can be customised according to taste and requirements, with a wide variety of pieces from the band's repertoire to choose from.

We need:
- A performance flat space for a five-piece band, with at least two electrical outlet.
- Sound system, including 2 stereo speakers with stands for output to the audience, a mixer of at least 4 inputs and one stage monitor speaker at least. If system and mixer are not on site, we are able to provide the necessary for the event for a small extra charge.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment.
We can provide a full sound system for a small extra charge.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the right music for the venue.
As a quintet, we are currently performing concerts throughout our region. Every stage is equally important to us, and the best gig is still yet to come
We enjoy playing at all kinds of events, but aperitifs, receivings and weddings are our favorites!
We come from several years of individual experience and distinct musical carreers. The band was formed when we met in the rooms of the jazz department of the Fiesole School of Music.
We come from different backgrounds but jazz is what unites us: Miles Davis, Roy Hargrove and Charlie Parker are our favourites
We usually talk with the people involved to agree on the arrival time for soundcheck. We also usually agree on the duration of the event and setlist with the organizers, for a set that can be up to two hours of music, with attached breaks if necessary.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We have a vast repertoire of songs to choose from for the event, but we can also learn specific songs at request for the event (we usually limit this to 3 songs).
