Sazon Tumbao Band is a high-energy English and Spanish Latin variety band based in Southern California, bringing live music, Cuban flavor, and unforgettable dance energy to every event.
Founded by Paul, a college professor and lifelong musician with over 30 years of live performance experience, Sazon Tumbao combines professional musicianship with authentic Latin rhythms and crowd-focused entertainment. Our talented lineup features powerful male and female vocalists, experienced percussionists, brass players, keyboards, bass, drums, and guitar to create a dynamic live show for audiences of all ages.
We specialize in Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Timba, Son Cubano, Latin Pop, Rock en Español, Top 40 hits, and bilingual dance music in both English and Spanish. Our performances can range from an intimate 5-piece band to a full orchestra-style ensemble depending on the event.
Featuring artists such as Pamela Vargas and our experienced rhythm section, Sazon Tumbao delivers the excitement and elegance of a live Latin concert experience while keeping guests dancing all night long.

Music has been part of our lives since childhood, and over the years we have performed with talented Cuban and Colombian musicians throughout Southern California. Sazon Tumbao Band was created from our passion for live Latin music, Rock en Español, and English Top 40 hits, blending authentic rhythms with a modern, high-energy performance style.
Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, Buena Vista Social Club, Santana, Maná, Eagles, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Sonora Dinamita have greatly influenced our sound. We love everything from Cuban salsa and cumbia to Rock en Español and classic rock. ‘Rebelión’ by Joe Arroyo and ‘Hotel California’ by the Eagles are among the greatest songs ever written and always connect with audiences.
We arrive 2 to 3 hours early. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minutes. Our minimum time is 2 sets. We find this set suitable for us and our audiences best. We also can perform longer and DJ our breaks.
