Reviews of Sebastian Fernandez Drums

I want to take a moment to highlight Sebastian, our dep drummer. Having worked with him closely, I can confidently say he is always well-prepared and rehearsed with the songs. His reliability and professionalism are truly commendable, as he consistently brings a strong understanding of the music to every performance.

His dedication and readiness make a significant difference to our band, and I truly appreciate his hard work and commitment. I wholeheartedly support him and look forward to making more music together !

Sebastian is a cracking drummer and a consummate professional. Filled in for my band Filthy Militia for a couple of shows last month when our regular drummer was unavailable. Learned all the material required in no time at all and performed flawlessly. All-round decent guy too and easy to work with, would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Sebastian is incredible! Not only is he a multi-genre professional who does his homework, but he’s a true performer. I have met only a few people in my 15+ years of experience who is on his level of expertise. When working with Sebastian, he’ll truly help elevate your live performance or session work. He asks the best questions and doesn’t leave anything to chance. He’ll study your music, but also has a brilliant ear so he is able to improvise and write his own interpretation as needed. Truly versatile. He’s also an absolute RIOT! I love his personality. He’s so chill, easy to work with, and will inevitably become your friend. Such a genuine guy. Will absolutely work with him in the future. I highly, highly recommend him.

Sebastian is an amazing drummer with a great 'groove' / pocket and skill. In equal measure accompanied with great attitude in regards to playing / recording or writing. Nothing but 👍👍 from me !

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Sebastian for three shows in London, and I couldn’t have asked for a better drummer! Not only is he incredibly talented and professional, but he also brought so much energy and fun to every performance. His precision, groove, and stage presence elevated the entire set, and he made the whole experience seamless. A true pro and a joy to work with - highly recommend him for any gig or project.

In one word- suberb. Reliable, diligent, professional and easy to work with. Plus a great human being to top it all off!

Excellent drumming skills. Took the time to familiarise himself with my songs (punk, indie-rock, indie-disco) in advance of the rehearsal and picked things up quickly. Great performances at the gigs. Very professional and reliable. Pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

Excellent drummer who has a brilliant feel and vibe and doesn't mess about!

Even more importantly, a good dude.

Verdict: Calm!

Sebastian is an extremely dedicated drummer who is confident in a multitude of styles without lacking in any. I've hired Sebastian for a few gigs now and I don't even hesitate to hire him when I need someone for a show because he's proven himself to be extremely reliable, skilled enough to not need much rehearsal time (I think the rehearsals are more for my own peace of mind!!) and goes the extra mile to help make each shoe a raging success on his part. Thoroughly recommended!!!!

Sebastian is such a talented drummer. You know how there's the meme where guitarists like to program drums that are only playable with 8 limbs? Well I do that all the time and Seb manages to play them all.

Besides that, he is reliable and gets the job done. Great qualities for a teammate. Being a great drummer is already half the battle won, being a great friend is the other half.

I've been working with Sebastian Fernandez for sometime now and consider him to be a dependable, professional who is committed to each job he signs up to, whether that's rehearsing, gigging or playing drums for recording. Not only have I found Sebastian Fernandez to be reliable he's also just a damn good bloke who is easy to get on with in a creative, productive and collaborative environment. I throughly recommend Sebastian Fernandez as a session drummer!

Last year my band Smacked Youth embarked on our first ever tour of UK and Europe all the way from sunny Australia. Our drummer was unable to make the tour so after some scrolling online I found my new friend for life Sebastian Fernandez. Seb learnt all of our set perfectly within a short period of time leading up to the tour. We touched down in Heathrow and then went to rehearsal where Seb absolutely nailed the drum parts. The next few weeks that followed were some of the most adventurous and memorable times I’ve had in my life. Was an honour to work with Seb and I will cherish our friendship forever.

Really glad we booked Sebastian as a dep for our main drummer. He was professional, punctual and we communicated thoroughly before the gig to ensure everything went smoothly, as my band were playing at my Dad's 80th Birthday Party, with well over 100 people in attendance. Sebastian didn't miss a beat all night (excuse the pun). My family were amazed at the fact it was the first time we'd actually met him, which is a testament to his skill as a drummer. Wouldn't hesitate to use him again if the need required. Thanks for helping make my Dad's party such a memorable event!!

We hired Sebastian for a recording session. Sebastian was very professional, communicating with us regularly before recording day in order to coordinate the session, arriving on time and going straight to work when he arrived. He is a human metronome and we were very pleased with his drumming. An added plus, is that he's a real nice guy as well.

Seb is a great musician and a lovely person to work with! We strongly recommend him!

Having the great pleasure of creating and performing music with Sebastian, I observed his skill, precision and professionalism to a great extent. I particularly remember his level of commitment as a musician, and it is something that had a tremendously positive impact during our time playing music together. Additionally, his communication and openness to new ideas were of great benefit, allowing a strong and comfortable bond to be created, a vital element of performing with others. Sebastian is a musician with a high level of skill, and I highly recommend him for any project.

Sebastian is a great musician, we played together at several events and he was highly professional, organised, and it was a pleasure to work with him.

High skilled musician. Perfect sound and always on beat. Very committed as well.

Sebastian Fernandez just recently joined us at Konk Studios for a few days of recordings on a pop musical score. We were blown away by Sebastian's talent - he was able to adapt very quickly to several different styles. He had no time in advance to listen to the tunes or arrangements(none were provided in advance for confidentiality), but he wasted no time bringing his instincts to the work and melding with the other musicians and composer / singer. Sebastian will be on our "go to" list of musicians as we continue to record at Konk and beyond due to his talents, professionalism and positive attitude! - Kipp Marcus - Composer/Producer/Performer

Sebastian is a top guy, I needed a drummer urgently and he learnt all of my set in one day and a half and absolutely killed it on the night.

Sebastian is a superb drummer who I’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of times.
He’s a solid player and a very easy going guy.

I can highly recommend him for any of your drumming needs

Sebastian stepped in pretty last minute to dep drums in my band. He learnt all the songs really quickly, and performed them to a pro level.
He arrived on time and had all the right gear! Which always helps!
Highly recommended!

Excellent performance and very friendly.
Excellent performance and very friendly.

Talented and Reliable Drummer!
Sebastian is one of those drummers that can hold it back and play the song really well but then unleash chops for days at a moments notice.

Used to tracks and IEM's - Highly recommended
