I need 2 CDJs (USB-compatible) and a Pioneer DJM mixer. Additionally, I require a stable DJ booth or table (minimum 1.5m x 1m) and 2 standard 13 amp power sockets near the setup area. The venue should also provide a professional sound system that’s compatible with CDJs. I’ll bring my music and headphones, and everything else needs to be supplied by the venue.

I need detailed directions to the venue, including exact address and clear instructions on where to load in equipment. If there’s a designated parking or loading area, I need to know its location. Also, please inform me if there’s a sound limiter in place, as this could affect the set. Knowing these details in advance will help me plan the performance and ensure everything runs smoothly.

I do not typically provide lighting equipment, but if the venue is in Cape Town, I can provide a sound system for an additional fee. This fee depends on the event size and location, so please let me know the details. If the venue is outside Cape Town, sound must be provided by the venue or a local supplier. This ensures I can focus on delivering the best DJ performance possible.

I don’t use Spotify DJ sets during the performance, since I rely on my own curated tracks for seamless mixing. However, if you’d like a custom playlist before or between sets, I can curate that for you in advance. let me know the vibe or style you want, and I’ll make sure it fits your event.

I arrive with USB music drives and headphones, and I typically arrive 30–40 minutes before my set to check the setup and prepare for the performance.

My most incredible gig was at a venue on Long Street in Cape Town. The crowd was electric, and the vibe was off the charts. It was a perfect blend of deep Afro house and a fully engaged audience. That night really defined what I can do when the energy and sound come together perfectly.

I actually started DJing in high school. During events like Heritage Day, I’d volunteer with my laptop and speakers just to make the atmosphere come alive. My biggest influence is definitely Black Coffee. His album Pieces of Me is just unreal, very track is a masterpiece, and that whole project shaped how I see deep house. The emotion, the groove, it's next level.

My typical setup uses two Pioneer CDJs, and sometimes a third for acapellas, letting me layer tracks. I love opening my sets because I can set the vibe just right. I usually arrive 30 to 40 minutes before my slot to feel the crowd and lock in the energy. My performance typically runs 60 to 90 minutes, by the end, the crowd is fully engaged, on their feet, and ready to move.

I'm happy to perform outside, but I do ask for some kind of shade, especially if it’s a daytime event, so the sun doesn’t affect the gear or my performance. I also need a stable surface and a power supply close to the DJ area. As long as those are in place, I’m good to go.

I have a lot of creative freedom in my sets, but I’m definitely open to client input. If there are specific tracks or styles you want, I’m happy to incorporate them, I just ask that you let me know in advance so I can plan and keep the flow perfect. Ultimately, I want both of us, me and you, to be happy with the final vibe.
