Seattle House Mafia is a house music DJ trio based in Seattle, made up of Paul Velocity, Phil Anthony, and Sangdo. Since 2021, the three of us have performed together as a single unit, bringing club-quality sound and energy to every room we play.
We play house music exclusively. Our sets are groove-led and built for the dance floor, drawing on house and tech house from start to finish. Clients looking for Top 40, open-format sets, wedding DJs or song requests will be better served by another act.
We perform at clubs and select private events only. Weddings fall outside what we do, so please look to a dedicated wedding DJ for those occasions. If your event calls for a true club atmosphere and a crowd that wants to dance to house music, we are the right fit.
We have supported internationally known artists including Benny Benassi, Chromeo, and Darude at Q Nightclub, one of Seattle's leading venues. With three DJs sharing the booth, we read the room together, shape the energy as the night unfolds, and keep the floor moving without a break.

No. We ARE the DJs.
Supporting Darude at Q Nightclub on his HYPE Tour in 2026 is our standout so far. Playing to a packed room ahead of an artist of that stature was a career highlight for all three of us. Q Nightclub is also our favourite venue: the sound system is world class, and we have been fortunate to support Benny Benassi and Chromeo there too.
Club nights are where we are most at home. We play house music exclusively, so our favourite events are the ones where the crowd has come to dance and the night has room to build. We also enjoy select private events where the host wants a true club atmosphere.
Each of us was an established DJ in our own right long before Seattle House Mafia began, with decades of combined international experience behind the decks. We came together in 2021 and have performed as a trio ever since, playing back to back at clubs across the Seattle area and supporting internationally known headliners.
Our sound covers the full spectrum of house music. With three DJs come three sets of influences: the melodic, driving energy of progressive house, the soulful and percussive feel of jackin' and Afro house, and the punch of tech and vocal house. Those styles meet in every set, which is what gives a Seattle House Mafia night its range.
Three DJs bring three record collections and three sets of ears on the room. We play back to back, taking turns on the decks throughout the night, so the music keeps evolving and the energy stays high across even the longest sets. You get one seamless performance with far more range than a solo DJ can offer.
You can watch and listen to our mixes on our YouTube channel (youtube.com/@seattlehousemafia) and find more at seattlehousemafia.com. We recommend listening to a recent mix to get a feel for our sound before you enquire.
Seattle House Mafia is at its best as a trio, and that is how we prefer to perform. For smaller events or tighter budgets, a solo or duo booking may be possible depending on availability. Please enquire with your event details.
We typically arrive one hour before our set to connect our equipment and sound check. Our sets run anywhere from 2 to 6 hours and are played as one continuous performance, with the three of us going back to back throughout. Longer or shorter sets can be arranged on request.
Yes, we are happy to play outdoor events. We ask for a covered performance area to protect the equipment, a stable flat surface, a reliable power supply close by, and a sound system suited to the size of the space.
We play house music exclusively, and every set is mixed live to suit the room. Clients are welcome to guide the mood, energy level, and style within house, from deep and melodic through to funky, Latin, Afro, or tech house. Requests from other genres fall outside what we offer, so clients wanting a varied playlist will be better served by an open-format DJ. We do not play specific song requests.
Clients and venues describe us as professional, reliable, and easy to work with, and they often comment on how seamless the music feels with three DJs sharing one set. The most common feedback is that the dance floor stayed full all night.
Yes. We regularly open for touring headliners and share line-ups with other DJs, so we know how to warm up a room, hand over smoothly, and fit our set to the flow of the night.
Our focus is on the music, and our sets run as continuous mixes. We are happy to make a brief announcement on request, and a dedicated host or MC is the best choice for events that need regular speaking from the stage.
We recommend enquiring at least 6 to 8 weeks ahead, and earlier for bookings outside Seattle so travel can be arranged. Shorter notice is sometimes possible, so please get in touch.
We play on industry-standard club equipment: Pioneer CDJs (ideally three or four players) with a Pioneer DJM mixer and booth monitors. Most clubs have this in place already. For private events, we can advise on exactly what to hire, and for Seattle-area bookings we may be able to supply equipment at an additional fee.
