Yes, we are able to meet all sound and lighting requirements required by the client, including speech mics.
Yes, we can play music from any streaming platform between sets as curated by the client. We also offer a DJ service should the client require
There have been too many standout gigs. All our performances are enjoyable. One of our favourite venues is the International Convention Centre in Durban.
Weddings and Dinner Parties.
The band is made up of industry professionals who have all worked locally and internationally. We have all been gigging for many years on the jazz and funk scene. We decided to form SILK for a residency at a local restaurant in 2018, and have since been together.

Our sound technician will arrive 4 hours before the performance to setup. The band will arrive 2 hours before the performance for a sound check. We ideally play 2x45 minute sets (normally a 'walk in' set and then dinner). After the dinner set we segue into the DJ
Yes, provided there's a covering and adequate power.
We normally do play requested songs especially if it's a wedding for the opening dance etc. We will provide clients will a repertoire list.
