Practical Info

What information do you require about a venue?

I need the exact location, schedule/timeline of the event, lighting conditions, and any specific venue rules regarding videography or drone usage.

What do you need from the venue on the day (space, power, access, parking)?

A parking space reasonably close to the entrance for equipment loading, access to standard power sockets for battery charging, and clear access to key event areas.

How long do you need to set up and pack down?

About 30 to 45 minutes to set up cameras, gimbals, and audio equipment before shooting, and around 20 minutes to pack down.

Do you have public liability insurance and any relevant certificates?

Yes, fully covered with professional liability insurance and compliant with standard safety regulations for video production and aerial drone operations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

My favourite project so far is “AI”, a music video I created completely from scratch. I wrote the song myself, drew the full storyboard, and directed the actors on set together with Silvestri Production. It tells the story of Greta, a girl who only talks to ChatGPT until she orders a robot, with a twist ending. Taking an idea from a blank page to a finished film, with every creative choice in my hands, is what I love most about this job. The best venues I’ve worked at are the Simar and Għadira nature reserves here in Malta, where I filmed the visitor welcome videos in four languages. Shooting at sunrise among the wetlands and wild birds was unforgettable.

What's your favourite type of event?

Weddings, without a doubt. Every couple has their own story, and my job is to capture it in a way that feels real, not staged. I love the small unplanned moments, like a nervous laugh before the vows, a parent’s face during the first dance or friends going wild on the dance floor. Those are the moments couples rewatch for years.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started out organising music events with a cultural association in Italy, which is where I fell in love with live moments and storytelling. I then studied Art Direction, Advertising and Graphic Design at AANT in Rome and began working as a social media manager, creating content for brands and businesses. Since then I’ve worked on music videos, documentaries and commercials, and today I’m the video producer at BirdLife Malta, where my reels have reached hundreds of thousands of viewers on social media. I’m based between Malta and Italy and work in both.

What makes you different from others offering something similar?

I’m not just a camera operator. I’m also an art director and editor, so I think about the whole film from the first shot to the final colour grade. I edit everything myself in DaVinci Resolve, which means a consistent, cinematic look and a personal touch. I also come from the social media world, so on top of the full wedding film I can deliver short vertical reels that are ready to share the same week. And I speak English and Italian, which helps a lot with international couples.

Which languages do you speak?

I’m Italian and work fluently in English, so I’m comfortable with international couples, guests and teams. I’ve also produced the same video in English, Italian, German and French for Malta’s nature reserves, so multilingual projects are no problem.

Service Info

Can what you offer be tailored to the event or the audience?

Absolutely. Before every project I like to have a chat to understand your story, your style and the mood you want, whether that’s cinematic and emotional, fun and energetic, or documentary and natural. From there I shape everything around you: the length of the film, the music, the colour grade and even the format. If you want vertical reels for Instagram and TikTok alongside the main film, I can deliver those too. I’m happy to work in English or Italian.

What is included in your standard service or package?

Coverage of your event by me as lead videographer, a cinematic highlight film edited and colour graded by me in DaVinci Resolve, and a short vertical reel ready to share on social media. Everything is delivered digitally in high resolution. Extras such as a full-length ceremony edit, drone footage, a second camera operator or a fast-turnaround same-week reel can be added on request.

How far in advance should customers book you?

For weddings and summer weekends, I’d recommend booking 6 to 12 months ahead, as popular dates go quickly. For smaller events, corporate shoots or social media content, a few weeks’ notice is usually enough. I can sometimes help at short notice too, so it’s always worth getting in touch.

How do previous clients most commonly describe working with you?

Clients often tell me I’m easy to work with and that they barely noticed the camera, which is exactly the goal. They describe me as creative, calm and reliable, and they appreciate that I’m involved from the first idea to the final edit. Many say the final film felt even more emotional than they remembered the day itself.

Can you also create short reels for social media?

Yes, and it’s one of my specialities. Before focusing on events I worked as a social media manager, and my reels for BirdLife Malta have reached over 180,000 views on a single video. I can deliver vertical clips optimised for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, so you can share your event while everyone is still talking about it.
