Sir i Sax Bangkok saxophonist: live sax with DJ for luxury hotels, rooftops and weddings

A clear, level, dry and stable performance area of at least 2 m x 2 m, protected from weather if outdoors. One sturdy table (about 120 x 60 cm) at standing height, and two grounded power outlets within 2 m of the performance spot. Cables should be routed so guests never cross them. Sound check starts 60 minutes before guests arrive, with at least 30 minutes for line check and balance.

Please tell us the exact performance position, set times, and any volume limit or curfew before the event. We also need the load-in access, the name of the sound engineer if the house system needs one, and what PA, mixer and monitor the venue has.

I bring my own saxophone and flute, a wireless instrument microphone, a laptop-based DJ/playback setup with a compact controller, and small percussion. For the sound system I rely on the venue's professional PA sized for the room, plus one floor monitor if possible.

Yes. I can also provide DJ-style playback before, after and between live sax sections when required, and the music style can follow the client's taste and the mood of the room. For events with a resident or event DJ, I perform live alongside the DJ.

Being a finalist on Thailand's Got Talent Season 1 in 2011 was a major moment for me. Since then I've played regularly at luxury hotels in Bangkok, including The St. Regis Bangkok, Rosewood Bangkok, The Okura Prestige Bangkok and W Bangkok.

I'm happiest at events where the music quality really matters: five-star hotels, rooftop venues, corporate galas and destination weddings. My strength is reading the room, moving between refined background elegance and livelier energy as the moment needs.

I have more than 30 years of live performance behind me. My work centres on luxury hotels, rooftops, weddings and corporate events in Bangkok. I play saxophone and flute, and I also add percussion, so a set can be live sax with a DJ, solo sax over studio-quality backing tracks, or a live music direction format.

I chose the saxophone after seeing King Bhumibol play it, and I studied with Ajarn Thewan Sapsanyakon. Thai media have called me the "Kenny G of Thailand", and Kenny G's Songbird, Going Home and Havana are part of my regular set alongside smooth jazz and soul classics.

Three formats. Live Sax with DJ: I play live alongside the venue's or event's DJ. Solo live set: saxophone or flute over curated, studio-quality backing tracks. DJ x Live Sax: a self-contained show where I run the music and play live myself. Percussion such as djembe can be added.

Yes. Alongside live performance I work as a music producer and music director under AHTTO Music. I create original music for brands, places and cultural projects, including music created for Adam Society, the Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026, and the Ruean Korat–Chalermwattana architectural music project. I also record saxophone for other artists' releases.

I arrive 60 minutes before guests for setup and a sound check of at least 30 minutes. A sunset set runs about 60 minutes, a peak-time set 75 to 90 minutes, and for a longer evening I can split it into three 45-minute sets that build from arrival to sunset to peak.

Yes, rooftops and outdoor venues are part of my regular work. I need the performance spot to be level and stable, with cover from rain, sun and humidity to protect the equipment, and power close by.

I play a curated repertoire of smooth jazz, soul, pop and Thai favourites, and I adapt the music and the energy to the guests, the venue and the flow of the event. Tell me the mood you want and I'll shape the set around it.

Clients and DJ partners often describe my performances as energetic, adaptable and easy to work with in a live venue. I'm known for reading the room, blending naturally with the DJ, and knowing when to step forward or pull back without overpowering the music. Several of my regular bookings have come through DJs and venue contacts who kept recommending and rebooking me, including introductions to Hilton Pattaya, Nobu Bangkok and Above Eleven.
