I used to have my own 11-piece cover band. We performed in front of 60,000+ people 2 times opening for Kool and the Gang, and Starship. I’m excited to embark on a new chapter in my artistic journey, inspiring hearts, awakening dreams, and nourishing souls through my original music and classic covers that evoke cherished memories.
Intimate settings where the audience comes to be inspired by songs and storytelling,
I started gigging back in 1995 as the lead singer of a college cover band called The Confidentials. For nearly 30 years, we played 80 to 100 shows a year at weddings, bars, and city events all across the Midwest. In 2023, the band was inducted into the Nebraska Music Hall of Fame. After COVID changed the live music landscape, I transitioned into a solo singer-songwriter, blending my original music with classic favorites—and I’m excited to move forward, offering quality entertainment in a fresh, more personal way.
The artist I’ve been most influenced by have been, James Taylor, Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder. The greatest song of all time is impossible to say. I’m a person who believes music should inspire people to love God, love others, and never give up on their dreams. Songs that immediately come to mine or, man in the mirror Michael Jackson, you got a friend James Taylor, redemption song, Bob Marley, and harvest for the world by The Isley Brothers.
All of these songs are covering my set.
Set up time is two hoursand my performance times are 2 to 3 hours. That would be one two hour set or 3 x 45 minute sets.
Absolutely! As long as I’m underneath a covering that blocks the sun and rain and close enough to a power source
I can learn songs before the gig if requested otherwise it is a set repertoire list only.
People describe me as inspiring, and my songs make them feel good. I’ve also been compared to James Taylor and Bob Marley. But the thing that truly captures their hearts is my voice.
With decades of experience performing at weddings, bars, festivals, and city events across the Midwest, Steve is now bringing that same professionalism to his solo performances. Recent shows have focused on intimate venues, private events, and curated listening environments as he launches this new chapter.
