The Swellheads are a group of musicians that cover a wide range of music from Jazz, Rock and Pop, to Rhythm & Blues. We provide anything from a small instrumental jazz trio for dinner to a full party band.
We’ll play any venue - as small as your living room to a large concert hall - for any event. From Corporate Events, Cottage Parties, Weddings, Anniversaries, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, to anything else you can dream up; we LOVE to play!

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We've played large hall's and campgrounds, as well as small living rooms. Each one provides it's own pleasures.

Started in 1998 playing pubs and eventually private parties with many great Toronto musicians.
Too many to list; I appreciate many styles of music now as a mature musician.
Several hours before performance OR before the staging area is to be complete. This can vary depending on the event (weddings, multiple groups performing, etc). Performance can range from two 45/60 minute sets over a period of 2-4 hours. Tear down is usually quick (1 hour).
Anywhere is fine with ample power supply and staging area. We work with the client to achieve this.
Special requests are always welcome but not always practical. We can't perform a song properly that is not in the style of the band/instrumentation represented.
