About / Biography

The strength and impact of rock music, the effectiveness of pop songs, arrangements borrowed from electro & urban sounds... No doubt Telegraph is one of the most promising pop rock bands from France today. Their two EPs « Simple Drive » and « From Cages with Love » overshoot 5 millions streams worldwide and have already sent them in 6 different countries, with more than 150 concerts... and still counting! With its messages of unswerving hope, Telegraph drives the demands of equality and justice of an entire generation sailing towards an uncertain future... Ambitious beginnings & contagious energy on the musical scene that appeal to all ages. In 2023, Telegraph starts a new chapter with « Crown » and « Back to My Roots », two singles loaded with determination that leads the way towards a first album composed in Norway. It reunites all the ingredients that made the success of the band: modern production, catchy melodies and a traveler’s spirit that does not forget where it comes from.

Telegraph’s origins date back to summer 2016, along the roads of California. The trio imbues with the Beat Generation’s culture, making inspiring encounters on the way. Ideas flow, filling the pages of their notebook. From folk to urban music, through blues and electro, their aesthetic comes along, at the pace of this journey. This experience leads to their first EP « Simple Drive ». Each song celebrates the everyday heroes, giving a message of hope to face any challenge of life. Within a few months, the single « Down in the River » gets more than 2 millions streams on all platforms and confirms its radiophonic potential. Telegraph wakes the audience up wherever it goes. The trio sings in communion words that leave a mark: « I can see the green world turn into grey ». The band takes a wistful look on the world and shares the claim of their generation. Beyond words, the band takes a stand. We see them organizing a clothing drive for people in exile during a solidarity concert, speaking alongside militant associations in favor of social and climate justice, playing in a hospital, a school... The message and the goal remain unchanged: bringing music closer to the people who need it most.

In the midst of a global pandemic, Telegraph releases its second EP in 2021, « From Cages With Love », recorded in their studio on a barge near Paris. It reunites all their ambitions and signs their style: passion with a sweet mix of colors. Like a picture taken in the heat of the action, these songs tell the story of a troubled year and an opportunity to be reborn. The first single « Late June », featuring Sierra Lundy (from the Canadian duo Ocie Elliott), is a bittersweet ballad inviting us to enjoy every moment. Regarding the two others, « Love & Faith » and « Time To Come Home », it reunites folk, rock, pop & soul references, sharing a powerful & enthusiastic message in these troubled times. And then? Well... the world opens up again, and Telegraph becomes the surprise on the roads of Europe (France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark & Norway) with more than 70 concerts during the summers of 2022 & 2023. International bands such as grandson, Sons of the East & grandson invite them for fiery support acts in Paris. The band grows with the arrival of William on the bass guitar and reaches cruising speed. Already acknowledged for their experience in studios, Telegraph returns from this tour with an album to record and the badge of an artist “not to be missed on stage”.

With « Crown » and « Back to My Roots », Telegraph joins the artists determined to offer the anthems that will shape the next years. These release comes with an ambitious music video directed by the band. An expected return that will come to life where Telegraph’s songs make sense the most: the stage.
