I prefer to arrive 1-2 hours before start time for set up. Depending on if it's solo or band. An average gig is two to three 45 minute sets but more than happy to change things to work with what people need on the day. I have done some gigs that can last up to five 45 minute sets.
Yes as long as there is sufficient cover if needed from sun or rain and power to run equipment.
I have a set list of songs that I'm always adding to, but yes I can learn specific songs for certain events but this needs too be limited to 3 or 4 because of the time it takes to learn songs and have them polished for a performance.
