The Covernotes is a live function and party band that plays everything from the classics to current floor fillers to get your party started. We play weddings, functions and corporate events.
We are fun and flexible with a professional attitude. We are all experienced in performing live having played hundreds of gigs for various private and corporate events.
We pride ourselves on being reliable performers, multi-instrumentalists and vocalists providing professional and energetic performances of the highest calibre. We are immaculately turned out, friendly, accommodating and enthusiastic, always giving 100%. We carry our own professional instruments with a full top of the line PA system.

Our base requirements are:
-Footprint of 3m x 4m or 9 x 12 feet. Generally, we can set up in a very small footprint.
-Grounded power supply socket, approx. 5 metres to set up area
-Parking and access to the venue
-1.5 hours prior to event start for set up and sound check
-Wireless Microphones can be provided if required for MC.
-We manage our own sound through our own mixing system
-If you have an iPad / mp3 player you can use our system to play music in breaks.
-We offer lighting for the band only.

We have played for large corporate events of over 1000 people both indoors and outdoors for Sunlife Canada and Petro Canada. We also have performed at the Edgbaston Stadium, Comicon, England UK.
We love to play for all parties of any type!
Our band members have been playing together for over 15 years, having started out on the UK and moved to Canada. Our core players are brothers and have played music from childhood
We have a very large set list across our band and perform classic cover tracks across the 50s to current floor fillers including a range of soul, reggae, rock and roll, funk and pop from artists such as Elvis Presley, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Queen, Elton John, Maroon5, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse, Prince, Bob Marley, James Brown, Santana, Chic, Michael Jackson, Dua Lipa and many more.
We normally arrive 1.5 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 3 songs as long as we have about a month’s notice. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
