We hired On The Rocks for our wedding reception in Hathersage, and we really enjoyed your contribution to the night! Your music was definitely a highlight of the day, and we only wished we’d been able to spend more of the night sitting and listening to you. We especially enjoyed your rendition of Menina Moca, which is one of our favourites. So thanks for that – it was much appreciated! We also received a lot of feedback from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music.

We absolutely loved having The Crotchet Club play for us at our wedding. It created such a nice ambience for us when we were having drinks and canapés and our guests loved it! The band are excellent and have a really broad repertoire. They even learned a song for us to play on the day! They were also very responsive and easy to work with - I would highly recommend them!

After hearing these guys play at a friend's wedding it was clear we had to have them come and play at ours too! The booking process was very straight forward with timely communication giving me confidence they were a well organised group. Their music really made the reception drinks, it set a very happy and relaxed mood, countless number of guests came up and commented on how much they enjoyed the music. Thank you SO much for playing for us on Saturday - it was quite a long drive for you all but we’re so so glad that you were able to come and perform. You created such an amazing atmosphere in the marquee and we felt so priviledged to have such talented musicians play for us. It was honestly perfect! The Crotchet Club played at a party for me at the weekend and they were absolutely fabulous. A bunch of great guys who really know how to play Jazz. We had 250 guests and they managed to entertain for the whole of the drinks reception and again after lunch. They are a wonderful band, don’t book anyone else for your event.

I found it so easy to book The Crotchet Club for my wedding reception. The email correspondence was very quick and easy and they took all my wishes and requests on board. I wanted some upbeat jazz to create an atmosphere for my wedding reception, and this is exactly what the trio did. They played beautifully! I didn't have to worry about any logistics once I had given them all of the info and they liaised directly with my DJ to ensure they were making use of the space and equipment at the party. I would absolutely book them again for a future party - they are very talented and great value!

I booked The Crotchet Club for my wedding. They were brilliant! They were hugely accommodating and I had excellent communication with them prior to the big day. We were able to choose songs that I liked from their extensive repertoire. As three musicians trained at the Royal Academy their playing was impeccable and helped bring a jazzy, fun vibe to the event. Several of my guests are musicians and commented on the band’s excellent performance. I would not hesitate to book this band again for another event. Finally, our wedding breakfast overran slightly and yet the band kindly stayed a little longer to accommodate this. Very happy with my choice to go with them!

Finding a band for a wedding can be tricky. We decided very early on that we wanted a live jazz act at our wedding reception, but we also knew that we didn't want a stereotypical 'wedding band', or a band that just did jazzy versions of pop songs. Fortunately for us, we came across On The Rocks: a group of quality jazz musicians willing to play a few weddings, rather than a wedding band that play a bit of jazz. Led by Jacky Naylor, they were genuinely, effortlessly brilliant. Cool, classy, chic, while also being fun and friendly... and just really damn good. They played with a singer at our request, Helena Debono, who was perfect: smoky, rich vocals and great stage presence. Jacky was really easy to work with throughout on everything practical, responding quickly to emails, letting us plug into the band's sound system when needed, being flexible on repertoire but also offering helpful advice and being happy to follow the feel of the room. Highly recommended, and I'd book them again in a heartbeat (for pretty much any kind of event).

A really talented group of musicians, our guests absolutely loved them! The communication from Jacky in both the run up and during the event was excellent and they were happy to adjust their set times when things ran over.
