For shows where we provide full sound and lights, we need a space of at least 30 feet by 20 feet. For shows where venue provides the backline for sound/lights, we need a performance space of at least 15 feet by 10 feet.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.

Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all our gigs and can provide full stage and crowd lighting. Lighting and sound equipment can be negotiated.

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

We played a private event for a US Air Force squadron holiday party. It was also their grand opening for their heritage lounge. It was amazing to play our high-energy rock hits with jets taking off in the background and a bunch of flight-suit clad audience members cheering us on.

We love playing at all sorts of events but parties are our favorite! We've played corporate holiday parties at casinos and private birthday parties in backyards, and the guests are always happy and engaged.

We've been playing together as a band for close to five years, but our collective individual experience is closer to 100, with each of us with two decades of experience playing and performing music. We started playing under a different name in 2021, but changed to The Dream Scene in late 23. Since then, we've played hundreds of gigs ranging from large corporate parties to raucous bar shows.

This is a tough one, since we all bring unique tastes and perspectives that shine through our diverse sets. Our lead guitarist would say John Petrucci of Dream Theater, the drummer would tag Ignacio Berroa of Afro-Cuban, singer would nominate Prince for his multi-instrumentalist and producing prowess, and the bassist would tag James Jamerson and credit him for being the godfather of most modern music.

Our favorite song to play? Either Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden or The Pot by Tool (not necessarily crowd pleasers but so much fun for us!
Our best performing song to the crowd? Everyone loses it when we play Mr. Brightside and then hit them with Toxicity right after...

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 3 x 45 minutes or 2 x 80 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

For venues with full light systems, we can utilize your houselights with our pre-programmed show if you send us a stage plot and your DMX maps organized by lighting types (movers, strobes, primary washes, secondary washes, light bars, etc.)

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface. A raised platform is highly desired, but not always necessary.

Most of the time, we have a pre-programmed setlist to match the vibe or theme of the event. With enough lead time, we are willing to do customized setlists with the clients. For example, we were asked to do a 90s show for a themed party, so we stayed within the decade for the entire show.

Another format we do is have a completely audience driven set, where the audience picks the entire set off a list of ~100 well known tracks, all with preprogrammed lights and backing. We've found that this format provides a lot of "stickiness" to the crowd and people tend to stick around much longer in hopes they get to hear/see their favorite song performed.

The single biggest feedback we get always starts with "I can't believe you guys played (insert song)!!!!" A lot of the music we perform doesn't get a lot of rotation with your typical cover band. Our technical abilities, both with performing and stage design, allow us to provide audiences with arena concert experiences in unexpected places. And the songs tend to light up their nostalgia senses given they were born in the 80s-90s.
