Our favorite gigs are definitely the lively *aperitivo* sets we perform at high-end restaurants. There is something incredibly special about the energy of an afternoon or early evening crowd relaxing with drinks and great food.

We love venues where the atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, allowing us to truly connect with the guests and elevate the mood of the space.

Our absolute favorite type of event is an outdoor *aperitivo* with a relaxed, sun-set vibe.

There is a unique magic in playing as the day cools down and the golden hour hits. We love looking out from the stage and seeing people brought together by the music—whether they are catching up over drinks, tapping their feet, or just soaking in the atmosphere. For us, providing the soundtrack to those shared, connected moments is what making music is all about.

We actually started out as individual professional musicians and music teachers, which gave each of us a deep, technical foundation in jazz and years of experience playing in countless different musical projects over the years.

We eventually crossed paths through our work in the music education and session scenes. Recognizing a shared passion for classic swing and bossa nova, we decided to combine our talents and form this trio. Coming from a background of teaching and diverse performing, gigging together felt completely natural right from the start—it allows us to bring a high level of professionalism, tight chemistry, and pure joy to every event we play.

As a trio, we draw a lot of inspiration from the jazz giants who perfected the art of the groove and group chemistry. We are heavily influenced by the effortless swing of masters like Bill Evans, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones—their work represents the gold standard of how a piano, bass, and drums should communicate with each other.

When it comes to our favorite artist and the greatest song of all time, we have a clear winner: Roy Hargrove.

For us, the greatest song of all time has to be Strasbourg / St. Denis by the Roy Hargrove Quintet. The absolute infectiousness of that groove and the overall warmth of the sound just instantly makes you feel happy. It’s exactly the kind of vibrant, uplifting energy we love to bring to our own performances.

We arrive 2 hours early and are fully set up, soundchecked, and ready in under an hour.
We typically play 2 x 45-minute or 2 x 60-minute sets, but we are completely flexible to fit your schedule.

Yes, we are absolutely happy to perform outdoors! To ensure a seamless performance and protect our equipment, we just require a few basic accommodations:
Flat, Level Ground: A flat, stable surface (minimum 3x3 meters) to safely set up our instruments and PA system.
Nearby Power: Access to a reliable electrical outlet close to the performance area.
Shade & Cover: A shaded spot (under trees, a canopy, or a marquee) is highly preferred to prevent our instruments and sound gear from overheating in direct sunlight.

If you have a special song in mind for a first dance or a specific moment, we are happy to learn it for you! We can add 3 to 4 custom songs to our setlist for your event (and can accommodate up to a maximum of 5 special requests with prior notice).
