Introduction

Playing live guitar alongside Judge Jules on the BBC Radio 1 Weekend really inspired this show, mixing guitar and a curated DJ set. All that I learnt from playing in the super clubs with amazing DJ´s I took and developoed into a solo show that is as entertaining as it is dancable.

I have taken classic dance and pop hits and mixed them with Spanish acoustic and electric guitar.

All the opertunities that have come to me have all been through my own music which now has regular radio play worldwide.

I perform a guitar DJ show or a show of my orginals or I can mix them, what ever suits your event. The main thing is that it is uniqley engaging and uplifting.

The art that lives in a live music experience has become so incredibly valuable in this post digital age.

That tangible feeling and indescribable connection is only available for those who where lucky enough to be in the room in that moment.

Tim Scott is a genre-defying guitarist and music artist known for fusing uplifting, virtuoso Electric and Spanish Acoustic Guitar with the emotion of an Ibiza sunset, the smooth sophistication of NuJazz, and the infectious edge of pop production.

His unique sound bridges the gap between the classic guitar legends of the past and the fresh zing of modern electronica. Albeit with a traditional but vibrant organic recording process.

Biography

Hailed early on by Guitarist Magazine and Musician for breathing new life into the guitar instrumental album, Tim Scott has continually defied genre boundaries. Fusing intricate melodic guitar lines with progressive dance and pop elements, his music is as adventurous as it is accessible.

His genre-blending approach has led to growing international recognition. "Snowflakes In June" is now played daily on commercial radio in Mexico, while the high-energy Spanish Guitar/Piano-EDM hybrid "Ibiza Mayhem" lit up UK club circuits last year and found a champion in BBC Ulster.

During the pandemic, Tim transformed lockdown into creative fuel. His viral balcony performances of the chilled EDM anthem "Magnesium Black" captured global attention, showcasing his talent and resourcefulness. This deeply personal period also marked a turning point in his life—meeting his now-wife and penning "Roller Skating," a track inspired by the roller skates and engagement ring he gifted her. The song has since become a global social media favourite. Lately, his love of complex harmony and genre fusion has taken centre stage. Tracks like "Spiekeroog" and "Blue Sky Turquoise Sea" reflect his classical and jazz sensibilities and have earned regular spots on the Smooth Jazz FM playlist.

Now based in Germany after relocating from Manchester nearly four years ago, Tim wrote "Escape to Paradise" while still learning the language and working from his in-laws’ basement. The track—a bright, radio-ready English pop song continues to receive airplay on German radio, symbolising his unique journey and cross-cultural resonance.
