About / Biography

I'm a London-based DJ known for versatile, well-curated sets that blend commercial hits, throwback R&B/rap, and house/dance. With a deep knowledge of music across all eras and genres, I tailor each set to suit the vibe of the event — smooth, well-paced, and always in tune with the crowd.

I also regularly play across a wide range of styles — from 80s, soul, and funk to timeless singalong rock and classic wedding favourites. Whether you're after a cool, modern soundtrack or the kind of songs everyone knows and loves, I can build the perfect set to match.

Whether it's a private party, wedding, rooftop session, or brand event, I create a sound that fits — from timeless classics to modern floor-fillers. Past clients include brands like Mango, Lipton, Topshop, and The Maine Mayfair, and I regularly play at stylish venues across the city.

Thoughtfully selected music, delivered with professionalism and style.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of my favourite gigs was a wedding where the couple trusted me completely to set the tone — from laid-back daytime tracks to a packed dancefloor in the evening. It’s always special when the music becomes a core memory for everyone there.
Venue-wise, I’ve really enjoyed playing at The Maine Mayfair — it’s a stunning space with great sound and energy. I’ve also had amazing nights at rooftop venues and East London spots where the crowds are lively and dance all night.

What's your favourite type of event?

I really enjoy events where the music matters — where the client trusts me to shape the atmosphere and flow of the night. That could be a private party, a rooftop bar, or a brand event with a specific mood in mind that I can bring to life.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I come from a professional music background — I’ve been an artist and songwriter for over a decade, which naturally led me into DJing. I began by playing at private events and creative spaces through word of mouth, and it quickly evolved into regular bookings across London.
Since then, I’ve DJ’d for a wide range of clients — from luxury brands like Bucherer and Cosentino, to cultural venues like Sketch, Hackney Bridge, and The Tea Building, to standout spaces like The Maine Mayfair, Hurlingham Yacht Club, and Park Row. I’ve also played at retail activations, yoga studios, fashion events, corporate launches, and sporting events such as Rocket Padel and The Reach Climbing Wall.
My experience across such a variety of settings means I’m comfortable reading the room, adapting quickly, and creating the right energy — whether it’s a brand activation, a club night, or an intimate private celebration.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I typically arrive 30 minutes before the set if I’m bringing my own equipment, or 15 minutes before if the venue is providing everything I need.
My most common performance times are:
2 hours – perfect for shorter private events or brand activations
3 hours – popular for parties and evening sessions
4 hours – ideal for full event coverage or headline sets
5+ hours – usually for weddings or multi-part events
If you have a custom schedule or special requirements, I’m always happy to adapt with notice.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors as long as there is adequate weather protection and safe, level ground for any equipment setup.
If I’m providing equipment, I’ll need access to power, and the setup must be fully covered in case of rain or direct sun. If the venue is supplying equipment, I just need confirmation that it’s safely positioned and weather-protected.
Let me know the setup details in advance so I can make sure everything runs smoothly.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are very welcome to submit playlists or song requests up to one week before the event. These help me get a feel for your taste and can be used for inspiration when shaping the set.
I do my best to accommodate specific requests during the event where possible, but this may depend on the type of booking, the flow of the night, and technical limitations. My sets are always curated live to suit the vibe and keep the energy consistent.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often say I have a great instinct for reading the room and blending their music taste with a set that keeps everyone dancing. I’m regularly described as professional, calm, and intuitive, with a style that feels curated, not just played.
Feedback highlights include:
“Tye truly understood our taste and kept the dancefloor full all night.”
“Every song was on point — she smashed it.”
“Fab communication, great energy, and an unforgettable vibe.”
Whether it's a birthday, rooftop party, wedding, or brand event, I aim to deliver a set that feels effortless, elevated, and exactly right for the moment.
