VS is a 5-piece cover band bringing high-energy Rock, Alternative Rock, and Pop hits to audiences across Oʻahu. Our goal is simple: play great songs that get people singing along, tapping their feet, and hitting the dance floor. With a mix of crowd favorites and powerful live performances, we create a fun, memorable experience for audiences of all ages.
Based on Oʻahu, VS is available for both public and private events and can travel to venues islandwide. We also help promote our shows through social media and, when needed, flyers and posters. Performance lengths can range from a one-hour set to a full four-hour show.
VS has been entertaining audiences around Oʻahu for years, delivering polished, professional performances with plenty of energy. Whether we're playing a local venue, private party, corporate event, or community festival, we focus on putting on a great show and keeping the crowd engaged from start to finish.

We need a performance space that's at least 10' x 13', access to electricity and 4 parking spaces.

We can bring our own PA system, if needed. We do not currently provide lighting.
Yes, we're happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We're happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We performed for 2 years in a row at the Downtown Honolulu Chinese New year Celebration, on the main stage. It was amazing to entertain such a large audience and see them dancing along to our music!
We love playing at all sorts of events but corporate events are our favorite! The guests are always happy, ready to unwind and it’s easy to get them dancing.
Individually we've all been playing in bands for 20+ years, but as a band VS has been gigging just over a year, and have already played some pretty great venues.
The Beatles, Foo Fighters, The Cure. we can find someone from every era who has shaped our musical identities. Our favorite era is the 80's - we find that it's the great "equalizer" for all ages to get on the dance floor and have fun!
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 3 x 45 minutes or 3 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
