Vocoder is the electronic music project of Auckland-based DJ and producer Connor Berghoffer. Starting out crafting house and EDM tracks as a teenager in 2017, Connor honed his production skills over years before launching the Vocoder project in late 2024 with debut single 'When I'm With U' featuring vocalist Miriam. Blending house, dubstep, drum and bass, and everything in between, Vocoder delivers eclectic DJ sets and original productions that push boundaries across the electronic spectrum. A fixture of Auckland's nightlife circuit with regular sets at Bar101, The Mothership, and AV Club, Vocoder has also graced the stage at Rhythm & Vines. Beyond the decks, Connor is the founder of Propel Music, Aotearoa's dedicated electronic music publication, and co-founder of Dataset & Douglas Media Ltd, a festival broadcast and pop-up events company. A full-stack developer by trade, Connor brings the same precision and creativity to both his music and his tech ventures.
