My magic shows are full of fun, laughter, music and audience participation. Some of the illusions I present include the production of silks culminating in a fountain of silk handkerchiefs. I also lhave a silk scarf that dances in a bottle and then flys out of the bottle. I also evitiate and vanish a table. I will close the show by producing a live bunny, if the venue can accomodate thius magic effect.
= areas covered (up to 100 miles)I would need a performance area of about 3 meters by 3 meters (10'x10')
I need the exact address of the venue. I would like to know details about the audience in terms of age range and any special guests of honour. Also, will I be performing on the floor, a raised platform or stage.
I come to an event fully self-contained with my own sound system and music.
I do not supply this.
I entered Toronto's Best Magician Contest and was voted Fan Favorite at the competition. I have also performed at the Family Fun Area at Cambridge's Canada Day event.
I truly enjoy performing at assisted living and long term care facilities.
I saw my first magic trick when I was six years old. Magic has been an interest for over 64 years. When I was working, I performed magic as part of the training courses and conference presentations I delivered. Upon my retirement I began to performing on a professional basis.
My magic has been influenced by the late Canadian magian Doug Henning. His mixture of mystery and story telling has helped to shape my magic presentations.
Normally I arrive one (1) hour in advance to set up for the performance. If multiple performances are required for the event I would require about 90 minutes to reset my equipment for these performances.
I am happy to perform out side, however I would require shade of a tent of some description. Level ground is also important.
Where possible, I attempt to prepeare a special trick or have the guest of honour particpate in one of the illusions.
"Scott The Magical Guy is super nice and always entertains. The tricks look so simple but I ca't figure out how they are done" Melissa Frances - Re/Max Twin City Reality
