Not only did she learn new pieces especially for us, but she also handled the venue’s paperwork at short notice. From start to finish, Matilde was an absolute joy to work with—professional, friendly, and always with a smile. "We hired The Harbour Lights for our wedding in August, and they were incredible from start to finish. Communication before the day was super easy — they were friendly, responsive, and even learned our first dance song, which made it so special. On the night, they had everyone on the dance floor — from my 8-year-old niece to my 80-year-old granddad! Their setlist was a great mix of classics and modern hits, and they read the crowd perfectly. The energy was brilliant, and a lot of our guests commented on how amazing the band was. Honestly, they made the evening unforgettable. We can’t recommend them highly enough — if you want a packed dance floor and a great atmosphere, go for these guys!"

"Una certezza Quasi 10 anni fa suonarono al matrimonio di mia sorella e ci divertimmo moltissimo. Non ho avuto dubbi per sceglierli per il mio matrimonio. Il repertorio è coinvolgente, la musica tecnicamente perfetta e Marco ha una voce fantastica. Abbiamo inoltre chiesto dopo il concerto anche il dj set di un paio d'ore e il risultato è stato esplosivo. Abbiamo cercato di iniziare il prima possibile con la festa e grazie ai Self siamo riusciti a coinvolgere quasi tutti, dico solo che si sono scatenate anche persone che alle feste non ballano mai! Consigliatissimi!"

Your music was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and the celebration - the play list that you selected was just perfect for all the moments. I have to especially complement how professional and thoughtful the band were throughout the whole event and I very much appreciated the flexibility and planning right up to the wedding day itself. The performance itself was spectacular and vocalist was just superb. The atmosphere and the mood that you set through the music was just perfect. "The Pagliuca-Mena ensemble is incredible – and that is not a word I often use. I found it original, listenable and completely absorbing, not only for the musicians’ class but for the arrangements and the inclusion of so many different facets of music: It’s heavy on the jazz but also strong on the Latin, a little classical and even a touch of folk now and again. It is hard to put into words how struck I was listening to this so I am not going to try, but rather say if you want something very different but with enough familiarity to make it still comfortable, listen to this music. It takes a lot for me to get excited by a band on first hearing, but the Pagliuca-Mena Sextet instigated just that. They are one of the most exciting bands I have heard for a long time and the delivery of this music is truly exceptional. "
