"Sofia es una cantante ucraniana que nos ha literalmente encantado. La verdad que tuvimos este contacto de otra amiga que se casó antes de nosotros y no podíamos imaginar que sería tan precioso todo. El cocktail fue todo según los planes y todos se felicitaron por la música tan bonita. El además ella y el pianista son una pareja muy unida y se vee que lo disfrutan. RECOMENDADOS 100%"

"We hired MAKKARONI BAND for our wedding to provide Jazz quartet at the drinks reception. They were all absolutely fantastic and made our special day pretty epic and one to remember. Could not recommend them highly enough, so if you're reading this wondering whether to book them, just do it! An absolute pleasure to work with, very polite and accommodating. "

"I booked Bella Swing Band for an Italian themed cocktail party for a pop up shop launch in London. They were flexible with numbers and budget for me (I only needed a 3 piece, not the traditional 5 piece group). They also had to play outside and we're very accommodating of that and brought their own speakers / soft music btw sets. So I didn't need to worry about anything music related on the evening which was a real relief. And they were great. They really lifted and helped make the party a huge success and were truly perfect for our event. I had them sing only Italian themed songs, but they would be wonderful at any style of jazz performance. Easy to work to work with and incredibly professional - I highly recommend."

"What a cool live music band this is. Great and nice team. Really good in communicating via the email. The music style is exactly what we both love. They played during our dinner, which is a perfect addition for the atmosphere to have more get to gathers and dancing between the courses. Really recommend this great band. Grazie e ciao! "Best part of our reception One of our best experiences was working with Smooth Mood Project! When we first met with Vasia and John, we were blown away with how easy going they were, how receptive they were to our suggestions and taste in music, and how comfortable they made us feel. Both of them were very communicative, flexible, and extremely dependable -- three qualities we especially valued as we were planning a destination wedding. In terms of their actual performance on the wedding day, Smooth Mood Project went out of their way to make our day extra special. They are talented, warm, and so much fun! Our guests were blown away with their performance and raved about them -- the piano, the vocals, the stage presence were all enchanting. "I really wanted a young DJ for my son’s 18th and was delighted to find DJ Sparx. She was excellent at communicating for the event, was happy to play my son’s (controlling teenager!) playlist, and then add her magic touch to it. In addition we loved her set up and lighting and she got the disco volume right too. We will definitely hire her again as we had great fun. On top of this, she’s a lovely person too!"

"Vasia and John are passionate with their job. They answered each and every question that we had and did a wonderful job entertaining our guests. We let them handle all the communication with our planner and sound engineer. They arrived early with their piano and made sure everything is ready. We definitely recommend them with all our hearts!"

"Hi Lenny, I just wanted to e-mail to thank you for a fantastic evening on Thursday for Bexy’s party. You were great and played just the right mix of music to appeal to us oldies as well as the bright young 21 year olds. I apologise for the delay in starting – the caterers were a bit slow off the mark – but the 3 hours you played more than made up for it and everyone had a brilliant time. "The Pagliuca-Mena ensemble is incredible – and that is not a word I often use. I found it original, listenable and completely absorbing, not only for the musicians’ class but for the arrangements and the inclusion of so many different facets of music: It’s heavy on the jazz but also strong on the Latin, a little classical and even a touch of folk now and again. It is hard to put into words how struck I was listening to this so I am not going to try, but rather say if you want something very different but with enough familiarity to make it still comfortable, listen to this music. It takes a lot for me to get excited by a band on first hearing, but the Pagliuca-Mena Sextet instigated just that. They are one of the most exciting bands I have heard for a long time and the delivery of this music is truly exceptional. "
