He was on point with every aspect;my ceremony went smooth; no issues with his cordless mic system; fog machine to add affect; different types of lights to add excitement to my reception and lastly very professional. "Elk Burland and the Purple Elk Sound and Lighting Company did sound for me last Saturday night October 27th. He was timely, Came with great equipment and was ready for the sound check in plenty of time. The show went off perfectly and it was largely in part to the competence and engineering skill of Elk Burland I highly recommend him! Lenny Solomon and Shlock Rock."

"We host an annual thanksgiving dinner ever year for all our campuses. Paul provided all the amazing lighting, sound system , all the mics and some extra special party effects to make the night memorable. His music selection was great as no one left the Dancefloor all night. Definitely a dj who reads the crowd. "

"My band Last Reserves performed last night as part of IndigoBravo promotions Punk Sunday night, at The Bridge Inn, Stalybridge, where Elk was the sound engineer. Despite only having time for a line check, the sound levels out front and on stage were spot on, and we could hear each instrument and the vocals clearly! The only adjustment we needed was a bit more guitar in our monitors after the first song! We would definitely recommend Purple Elk Sound and Lighting for any sound engineering requirements. Thanks again Elk! "

"We had Aslanis supplying light and sound for our wedding in September 2024. John was awesome to deal with from the very first moment. No issues whatsoever. Super professional, set up the day before and wedding day went all smooth. The lights were a show by themselves, plenty of sparklers etc etc. Thanks again John and the team!! :)"
