"Doesn’t time fly by! Two weeks today since we got married and you came along to keep us entertained. It was an amazing day and you and your band contributed immensely. From the moment I contacted you I knew we had made the right choice. Your communication and understanding was excellent. Our 1930s theme fit right in with the venue and your style of music. We received lots of comments from our guests about how lovely it was to sit on the lawn drinking Pimms listening to you play whilst we were off having photos taken. It was so relaxing and elegant. Like being on a film set, one guest said. I think what made it for me was when all the guests had gone inside to sit down for the meal and we were passing some hotel guests sitting on the terrace enjoying the sun. As I walked passed one gentleman starting clapping and commented how beautiful I looked and thanked me for providing such wonderful music that he had enjoyed listening to; a real unexpected pleasure. In fact the venue told me the following day that quite a few hotel guests had commented on the great music. The evening was astounding. In the DJ sets you provided between Dr Jazz’s live sessions you managed to fit in all our guests’ special songs. This made it a lot more personal. And thank you so much for rearranging one of your songs to fit in with the routine we had learned for our first dance. This just shows how versatile and amenable you are. We would like to thank you for coming and making our wedding day most enjoyable, not just for us but for our guests. I have already been recommending you and will continue to do so."

"Having Wajdi C. perform at our private event was such a wonderful experience. From our first messages to the last song of the evening, he was professional and easy to work with. His piano playing was elegant, expressive, and created exactly the mood we were hoping for. We were thoroughly impressed with his extensive set list and will definitely invite him back for future gatherings. I highly recommend him."

It was a really easy booking process and our minds were put at rest with their communication and they are very good value. "ust recently, the wife and I settled down to watch Harmonica Lewinsky at the Owlsworld tent at the Rickmansworth Canal Festival. Ha ha; bloody hell :-D Now, *there's* someone successfully mining the music hall/rockney/Americana/Tottenham-to-Hemel mash-up seam, with a guitar, a box of harmonicas and a flat cap his only tools; there’s not many of his kind left these days. Top marks also for his stage persona—that of a man so used to hostile audiences that's he's willing to create one for himself if necessary :-D—which made for an inordinately entertaining hour. The wife and I even danced a bit: we were meant to do a conga, but instead we did a messy foxtrot to “My Old Man’s a Dustman” because, when in Rome, you’ve got to have a right old proper cockney knees up. Or something. Very enjoyable indeed."

"Well hello, it’s Larry Richmond back on the entertainment scene, and so good to be attending live entertainment again. On Sunday 20th February I attended the Pheasantry in Chelsea, to see Lorraine & The Flames. This gig was produced by Aspects Productions and presented in association with Pizza Express Live. I had previously seen the band’s showreel and was looking forward to seeing them live on stage. The Pheasantry is one of London’s top two cabaret rooms. I arrived well in time to order a meal and a bottle of wine. The show started at 8.00 pm. The venue was full. After an introduction by the compere, Lorraine looking stunningly elegant in her long glittering dress entered the room from the above stage balcony and slowly descended the stairway singing her opening song. Throughout the 90 min show, consisting of two 45 min sets, Lorraine backed by her excellent band of piano, bass, drums, and guitar, gave us the best of the American songbook in a relaxed and stylish style which was a joy to hear and see. I understand that Lorraine Heavey was a successful professional performer in her native Ireland during the early part of her career, and then gave up performing to marry and start a family. How glad I am that this talented lady has decided to return to her showbiz career and is now performing again. Lorraine Heavey has that certain element that we call ‘star’ quality. I hear through the grapevine that Lorraine and The Flames will be performing again at the Pheasantry later this year on the 6th Sept and at another of London’s top cabaret rooms, The Crazy Coqs, on the 3rd of October.
