Can also be expanded to include any combination of vocalist, guitar and double bass (French repertoire only).

Preferred performance setup is totally acoustic, although small amplifier can be provided which would require a small performance space (approximately two metres squared) plus power supply.
General layout of the venue is very useful especially if the booking contains mobile performance. If it contains seated performance, then there needs to be some information about a designated seated performance area and if amplification is required whether that area has access to electrical power.
I provide a small amplifier in case it is required although it's usually not necessary.
No I can't unfortunately.
The best gigs I have ever done have been small and appreciative audiences, playing acoustically, where people love the style of music that I play and the evocative sound of the instrument. The best venues I have ever worked at have been the ones best suited to the music, that is, French chateaux, jazz clubs, restaurants, wine tastings etc.
My favourite type of event is a daytime outdoor gathering, maybe a wedding breakfast or lunch, but also evenings are great too!
After completing a music degre on piano I spent some time performing on a cruise ship before moving from Australia to the UK. During the last twenty years I have performed as an accordion and/or keyboard player (and sometimes both) with artists such as Sophie Solomon, The Puppini Sisters, Osvaldo Chacon, Roberto Pla, Lisa Stansfield, Dame Edna Everage, Macy Gray, the National Symphony Orchestra, Anais Mitchell, Los Pacaminos (featuring Paul Young) and others. As a accordion and/or keyboard player (and sometimes both) I have performed on musical theatre shows such as Thriller Live, Priscilla: Queen Of The Desert, Stephen Ward, Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, Hadestown, Oliver! and others.
Richard Galliano is an amazing accordionist. The songs of Edith Piaf are a constant inspiration. The greatest French song of all time is 'La Vie En Rose'!
This is hugely dependent on the booking, but my usual arrival time at a venue is an hour before commencement of playing.
Performance fees are based on a maximum call time of three hours, that is, any length of performance up to and including three hours.

There is a repertoire list available for inspection and clients are allowed to pick a certain number of songs from this list. New songs can also be learnt for a fee provided there's at least a week before the booking.
