"Tom played at my wife and my 50th birthday party. Ahead of the event, his communication was excellent, providing a playlist based on our likes but also very happy to add our choice of songs to the setlist. He covered a wide genre of music. He arrived extremely punctually and was ready to go when the event started. The guests loved his music. I would not hesitate to recommend him. Francis & Alison"

"My family enjoyed the pleasure of having Johnny play at my mom & dads graveside service! I wanted to surprise my siblings and have Johnny start playing on 👍 The service was running late because we were waiting for my nephew driving in from MT and so Johnny had to leave twice to go to a nearby park to retune his pipes. My brother gave the opening prayer and then I spoke for a minute and then motioned for Johnny to start playing 👍 He began with “how great thou art” as he walked over to the graveside and everyone was touched to tears. 😢 The he played “Amazing Grace” at the headstone! Then after some family members spoke, he played a request for my dads birthday of “Danny Boy” and I know my mom loved Hallelujah but it wasn’t on his list and so I asked him if he could try it. It was short notice only a few days and Johnny nailed it!! It was a very special tribute and send off to our mom & dad and Johnny did a beautiful job and I won’t hesitate to recommend him for any family funeral!! It was perfect 👍 Thank You Johnny, from the bottom of my heart ❤️"

"The Magpies wowed everyone at our Great State Republican Christmas party with music perfectly suited for our crowd. These ladies were wonderful to work with, arrived promptly and were great entertainers. BTW... at our first meeting of the year we heard lots of compliments about you ladies, thank you Karen Renger"

"Spicy Sax made our special day extra special! He is a really sympathetic guy, who is great to work with. He accompanied all of our music requests, provided great inspiration and was very flexible and perfectly skilled. He went above and beyond our expectations playing with our DJs as a perfect team although they met the first time. We can absolutely recommend Spicy Sax to make your wedding or celebration extra special. His saxophone and musician skills are top-notch and he is booked at famous venues/great references. "Very happy with the overall communication before the event & easy to liaise with you and confirm requirements, timings etc. You arrived early which was great to help get everything set up in time for the evening. The music itself was great and we had plenty of comments from people to say how much they enjoyed it & you played exactly the kind of music we were after and really felt the vibe of the room. You adapted to when we needed specific breaks during the meal for awards and was always a really smooth transition. Overall we were extremely happy with the service you offered and the performance in general. Would definitely repeat book if we had another similar need/event!"

" When we set about choosing our nighttime entertainment for our wedding ceremony we wanted a band that would appeal to all, with a sense of fun - to get people up and dancing. We watched you on YouTube and read your reviews, it all seemed quite good. Your energy - live, on stage - was even better than we expected. We were also very impressed by your professionalism throughout the booking process and on the night itself. Judging by the numbers on the dance floor, I'd say the night was a success!
