I'm also booked to sing a final farewell to a loved one either in the funeral ceremony or an outdoor setting.

I usually work with other musicians/accompanists, whether that be a pianist/organist of a church or an orchestra. Where there is no live accompaniment, I provide my own system.
I need to know any directions that will help me find the venue.
When needed, if no live accompaniment is available, I provide my own sound system.

I think I'd have to say that my favourite , Liverpool Cathedral. I'd always wanted to sing there and the acoustics were amazing!
I'm not sure I have a favourite type of event. I love singing for wedding ceremonies as it's such a beautiful joyous occasion to be a part of. The jazz n swing I sing a dream at a party.
I love singing for all occasions. Singing for a funeral is the most honoured booking - music and voice can add such a personal, warm final goodbye. It's always an honour .
I was performing from the age of 14 when I first started my music and singing exams. Acting, singing and directing through college gave me quite varied experience but it was singing that I focused on. From there I have sing at countless weddings, funerals and concerts around the north of England and also Scotland and Wales.
I adore the sound of Ella Fitzgerald's voice and she was such a talent at the piano too. In the classical/opera world, Jessye Norman, the American opera singer, blew me away with her strength , depth and tone and her vocal range.
I like to arrive an hour before hand just to rehears and make sure everything is as it should be.
I'm often required to perform outside, and I'm happy to do so.
I have a repertoire but in also happy to learn new pieces providing I have enough prep time.
