Hello my names Emi, I sing mainly solo, to either original or acoustic (piano or guitar) backing tracks. I am also available as part of a duo if required, featuring myself and a pianist/guitarist. I also feature in a 4 piece wedding party band named 'Retro Rewind'.
I can adapt to any ocassion whether that be a wedding, funeral, garden party, baby shower, engagement party and so on!

Yes, I have all my own equipment. I have a portable system that needs no power as it is chargeable and I also have a system that can be powered.

The best venue I have ever performed in was a ballroom event in the Royal Armouries in Leeds, West Yorkshire. It was absolutely packed with thousands of people in there. The set up was gorgeous as well, the client had me singing right in the middle of this huge gorgeous white sparkling dancefloor.
My favourite type of event is one where I can see that people are enjoying the music, that i've put a smile on people's faces mainly and that they have enjoyed their day!
I have been singing live since I was 18 years old, so about 13 years now! I started when someone asked me if I wanted to attend an open mic once and have a go, I really enjoyed it and it went on from there! I have been singing since I could talk though.
I have been influenced by Queen, Whitney Houston, Ariana Grande, Adele, Pink, there are loads that I could name. My favourite artist by far is Freddie Mercury. The greatest song of his of all time for me would be 'Barcelona' with Montserrat Caballé. I can sing both parts, Freddies part and Montserrat's opera sections. I am trained in both contemporary and operatic singing.
I would travel worldwide if travel expenses are paid.
I arrive about 1 hour - 45 minutes before start to set everything up.
Performance times: I normally arrive at a gig, set up, do 1 x 45 minute set,
have a 20 minute break and then another 1 x 45 minute set.
However, this can change if requirements from the client are different.
Yes absolutely fine to play outside. I have done this many times especially for summer events.
I have a set list, however I am open to requests absolutely and will perform them on the spot if I know them!
Depending on what type of performances they've witnessed as I adapt for different clients. My wedding performances for example, when I am doing a ceremony it's usually slow songs requested by the happy couple, which people seem to love and say it sounds just like the actual song, which I LOVE! Then for the wedding breakfast/drinks reception I turn up the pace a bit and make it a tad more energetic with happy/joyful acoustic songs. Then if I am asked to perform a bit later on I tend to turn up the energy more and do some party classics to get everyone warmed up for the evening DJ!
Unfortunately I cannot, I can only play very basic piano. I have been trained in singing. All the songs I sing are to either the normal or acoustic versions, played via backing track through my PA system.
Yes absolutely I have done this at nearly every wedding. Most happy couples want very specific aisle songs especially!
