Cosimo (flute) and Stefano (guitar) have two very different musical backgrounds: one is a jazz cat and the other a full-on rocker. Brazilian music is where their paths meet: choro, samba, bossa nova... they can't get enough! And their goal is to bring their passion through to you, the listener, while you're enjoying your party.
They are the best choice when it comes to intimacy, classiness and acoustic sound, creating the perfect atmosphere whether there are fewer people (e.g. birthdays), or a big gathering such as corporate/business parties. Weddings and dinner parties are also one of their specialities, helping to create an unforgettable experience.
Cosimo & Stefano's repertoire consists mainly of the most known latin-jazz hits, such as the Girl of Ipanema or Besame Mucho. They are not a cover band, meaning that every time each song's interpretation will be a bit different from the last time they had played it, depending on the situation and inspiration: making spontaneous artistic choices is what they love!
Requests are welcome in advance as long as they fit the duo's artistic profile.

Meet Cosimo, your flutist:
Cosimo Gentili is an Italian-Dutch musician based in Rotterdam. In 2021 he graduates from the conservatory of Rotterdam Codarts in Jazz Saxophone. Throughout the years he’s been playing frequently in the NL and around Europe. Although he specialises in saxophone, Gentili has many more interests in music: experimenting with electronics, composing for small and big ensembles, even directing a 15-elements big band! Another of his interests is the beautiful tone of the flute, which he uses regularly in different settings.
Meet Stefano, your guitarist:
Stefano Petucco studied at the University of Rome with teachers William Stravato and Nicola Puglielli, where he specialized in tango and bossa nova. In Buenos Aires, he continued his tango studies under maestro Julián Graciano. In Italy and abroad, he has performed in various jazz clubs and festivals, including Villa Celimontana (IT), Casa del Jazz in Rome (IT), Ciampino Jazz (IT), Be Bop Rome (IT), Crisoles (Argentina), Dizzy Jazz Club (NL), Tutti Fratelli Theater (BE), and Rataplan Antwerp (BE).
He has released seven albums of original music, the most recent of which was published by the Dutch label Aliud Records under the title Persistency.

We need very little performance space. Around 2x2 meters will be enough. We can play acoustically if the gig is inside with few people, otherwise we will take care of bringing amplification. This will serve for both inside and outside events.
We usually perform sitting, so the venue should be able to provide 2 chairs without armrests. If this is not possible, please let us know.
