About / Biography

We are a trio formed by students of the Den Haag Royal Conservatory and Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Our music consists of original compositions and arrangements that bring together the worlds of Jazz, Turkish Music, Balkan Music and Indian Music with traces of Funk, Latin and at times Techno as well. We are planning on starting our first Dutch tour starting from February 2026.

The trio features Yanki Saracoglu from Turkey on the Piano, Nina Cekov from Macedonia / Bulgaria on Electric Bass and Dhruv Sharma from India on Drums / Tabla / Darbuka. As mentioned earlier, our compositions are heavily fusion based, making them perfect for people who wish to enjoy fairly tradition / ethnic music that fits a modern setting.

Our performances are tailoured to the requirements of our clients. We've played in traditional Jazz bars, formal musical programs, weddings / parties and various other settings. We find a way to adapt quickly to the situation and carefully select our repertoire and performance length based on it. We are extremely excited to share our music with you and provide you with an unforgettable musical experience.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

We require plug points for an amplifier, sound mixer, at least 3 - 4 microphones.

What information do you require about a venue?

We would like to know the approximate size of the stage and the type of crowd we would be playing for so we can plan our stage setting and setlist in advance.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

We would appreciate if sound and lighting equipment was provided by the venue, however we can arrange to bring our own if that's not possible.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

We had the wonderful opportunity to perform at the beautiful Amare building in The Hague. It was a concert setting where we were the main event and we could play our own music for a fabulous audience.

What's your favourite type of event?

We've played at all kinds of events, but our favourite has to be a concert setting where we're the main event, or at least part of the main act. We enjoy playing in settings where people's main focus is the music and they come to listen to a specific genre or lineup of bands.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We met each other at different jam sessions and discovered a common love of Eastern - Fusion music among other things. We quickly formed a trio and started playing shows in our school, moving quickly to jazz bars, corporate parties and other musical venues around The Netherlands (Leiden, Rotterdam, Amsterdam).

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

It's hard to pinpoint any one artist as our influences are so diverse. However, we would pick artists like Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock as our favourite and most influential musicians any day.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Our performance settings and timings depend completely on the client and their requirements. We've played everything from standard swing Jazz tunes at corporate events to our original compositions at concerts.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, we are more than happy to perform outdoors, provided we have sufficient power supply in the performance range and the weather doesn't show any harsh / cold conditions or signs of raining or snowing.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We are definitely open to learning specific songs before the event. we have a standard repertoire that we share with the client beforehand but we are open to any and every amendment in order to satisfy the client.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients have described us as a highly energetic trio who are extremely in sync with each other. All. three of us bring out the best in each other and bring our shared love of music to the audience through our performances. We've done everything from providing a calm meditative space for some of our clients and a highly energetic evening full of dance for others.
