THE HAGUE • The Dutch Jazz Band originated from the HofJazzSessies.
The sextet consists of Hans Schönau (sax), Victor Borkent (trumpet), Eric Prud’Homme (guitar), Remco Hofman (piano), Willem van Wijngaarden (bass), and Barry Olthof (drums).
This group from The Hague began in May 2025 in the Statenkwartier district, growing out of the renowned HofJazzSessie held at Remco Hofman’s home—an event attended by virtually the entire Hague jazz scene. Many of the sessions can be heard on YouTube.
